Novel adventure game Constantly being retooled, so the identity is a little bit in flux, but always refining. Still no other game out there like it. Recommended if you're a sucker for games that try to subvert combat.
This game is HARD. Not in the souls-like, you need Daigo level timing kinda hard, but in a way I've not seen in a game. Every choice you make could get you murked. There have been plenty of anime that showed you how brutal an adventure could be for everyday folks, but this brought it home for me. Setting out to achieve a goal without enough information or the right equipment will have you folded like a Michelin Star omelet. There's not a lot of hand-holding either. I found myself in a predicament where I was at 1 HP, couldn't eat because I was out of hope after eating the worst meal of all time (spoiled rat meat or something), and couldn't get my hope up until I'd had a good sleep in a nice place. The problem is, that sour rat meat was my breakfast, so I couldn't go back to sleep. There were hazards in every direction, so traveling was mostly out of the question. I hit the pause button to see if I could find anything, and that's when I saw it. A beacon of hope in the depths of despair. There's a button in the options that says something like "Pray for Help". This allows you to call on the in-game god to help you out of a sticky situation. It also allows you to report bugs. I take it God is just the developer (read: literal deus ex machina). I clicked it, and it made it known that calling to god for help too often would have consequences, so I double-checked that I'd done everything I could on my own. This thing teleported me 12 ft to the entrance. Thus my irl hopes were dashed. What an immersive experience. I lost the fancy new weapon I was excited to try out, new knowledge I'd acquired and wanted to return to the haven, etc... It was... incredible. This game is all about exploration. It's about making mistakes and teaching future generations lessons that can only be taught in blood. It's also about learning basic planning skills. I don't have those. This game is wonderful.

i have this game on egs and got it on here because i like weird lil games. i'm pleased with how much this game has expanded and changed over the years. it's a challenging tabletop rpg with a unique style and setting. the world has dynamic events that change the world and the weirdoes you get to interact with it. it's a good game to come back to but for some reason years later i get random missing dialog bugs
Absolutely love this game! It's truly one of a kind and well made!
OK, this game gets the aesthetic, the sound, the look, the feel... It's a gorgeous game to experience. ... But as a game, it's not actually particularly fun, at least not in my opinion. - The combat controls feel stiff and awkward, whether keyboard or controller. Though i do like the quick loadout switching - The radial menu is probably the most awkward one I've ever seen, because it doesn't retain direction selection, so you have to make sure you do the actions in precise order every time, making it harder to do the actions quickly, which is the opposite of what a radial menu is for. - The actual inventory management is infuriating, Everything is done by a hold-menu except dropping stuff. When taking items from a container, it's often unclear which section of the inventory it will go to.
Как можно было превратить великолепную первую часть вот в это? Много лет ждал, что с апдейтами вторая часть станет лучше, но она так и осталась непонятной тягомотиной.
Great game
I just want the game be like it was at first! I loved the freedom and that's why i bought the game. I dont like the game any longer ,it has changed alot. Bring back old mechanics and progression and fix the old bugs what break the game.
Really great music score. Exception actually. I find the game generally difficult to get into, I just visit some random village which I thought was a quest I picked up, only to find that no it wasn't a quest (not in my quest log), its just something else? Perhaps I was just given a marker for a 'place' to .. see? The empire is not really explained well, and while I marvel at the world that gets generated I sometimes feel like the game calls out for a little bit more of a tie between what the game is telling you, what your actions need to be, and what the reward for those actions are. Love the art style.
