About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

"The ♥♥♥♥ I do IS the ♥♥♥♥ I am" Besides turning an entire riff into a cognito hazard for my emotions, this game has done nothing but good for my mindset. I never encountered many of the bugs or softlocks referenced by other reviewers myself, but if the only qualms about the game is about it's unpolished nature, poor pacing, unnatural narrative moments, inconsistent voice acting, random plot-holes, and off-time notes, I ask you to look past those. This game is one of the most human pieces of media I have ever consumed. It wears it's mistakes and flaws proudly on it's sleeves and doesn't conform itself to acclimate to a wider audience. The core characters feel human. Not in the fact that they're flawed sense, the way they interact just makes sense, like if someone put you in a room full of familiar people that bounce off in a way that doesn't feel excessive nor exaggerated. The soundtrack is fantastic, filled with a variety of genres of which most, if not all, of the tracks are original. It's narrative is structured in this, anime-esque, episodic format which fits it perfectly. Each part contributes to the development of the story exceedingly, appropriate for the climax in the final episode. While not perfect by any means, hell you could predict how half of it goes despite all the questions it leaves, it is more than enough to have a lasting impact. UNBEATABLE is a clear passion project it flaunts it confidently. There is so much love poured into this game that it's undeniable at every junction within. The imperfection makes it feel perfect -- In a time where art (and media as a whole) is flooded by AI and margin-driven profits, UNBEATABLE feels like a piece of art that brings us back to the roots it all. To express thoughts and feelings, to evoke emotion. It understands that it doesn't need continually inform us about it's humanity, just by existing in this current climate is all that it needs to do, like a friend who'll be with you for the sake of comforting you and nothing else. And I think that's great.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute cinema, evrybody should play this game
I bought the game because of Jamie Paige and I am so glad I did. The humor is amazing, the world building is one of my favorites, and its one of the few games that actually made me cry at the ending. While there are bugs that definitely should be fixed, it's a game that more people definitely need to see. I wish I get to see more of this studio and more games like it.
we're unbeating it such a charming game and AMAZING art style
this game is UNBEATABLE...
lowk pretty good only ost that ive heard that sounds good outside of playing the game :3
Bought this game to play funny JamieP songs. Stayed for the story I didn't know existed, and all the joy and heartbreak that came with it. It feels like this game fell into my lap at the perfect time; I needed this. A reminder to be a bit kinder to yourself, and to never stop striving for what it is you aspire to even when it feels like the world has you backed up against the wall... and also that sleep is king. Thank you Beat, very cool :3
