About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

as someone who's favorite music genre is rock, the songs in this game are literally peak. Another thing, I've never, NEVER seen a game of this quality have LITERALL VOCALOID SONGS IN THE GAME grated itis in both a dlc and the breakout addition of the game BUT IT'S STILL A HIGH QUALLITY GAME, WITH VOCALLOID SONGS IN IT, THAT'S NOT PUT IN BY THE COMUNITY!. IT'S PUT IN BY THE DEVS OF THE GAME! Also, The story is genuinely the funniest i have EVER witnessed in a videogame, ever. Also if you like Teto, and Jaime Page there is a dedicated dlc TO JAIMIE PAGE. it is vary much worth the money. If you like rock, funny games, and Teto, please for the love of god buy this game. I promise you will love this game. (the achevement names are also really funnya0
The music and art are amazing. I've spent countless hours in the arcade mode (literally, since steam's playtime counter is broken) However the storymode leaves much to be desired. Lots of dialouge and walking around, not much actual game. There are good parts, but the pacing makes it hard to get invested. It kind of feels like you just get dragged through the story without freedom to really engage in it (which is ironic considering one of the story's core messages. It propably would have faired better as an animated movie. Having played the demo, it's kind of disappointing. All in all I would give it slightly better than mid. Maybe get it while on sale.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
It's a rythm game, I don't feel any particular way about rythm games, you just got to use proper rythm, after all, that's all there is to it. Outside of the arcade mode, there is a story, a story where you do music (well, hit two buttons on your keyboard using proper rythm, really), a story about doing crimes, that's all there is to it. That story remains silly through and through, never mind the fact that it made me cry in a way that months of depression couldn't, it's a funny, colorful game (FLCL : the game, if you're so enclined), so just enjoy it at the proper rythm, that's all there is to it. If profound or novel experiences are what make a good game [strike](I mean, just look at last year's goty)[/strike], then this might be the best game ever made.
TL:DR
If you feel no particular attraction to rythm games or emotionally unwell (
In THIS economy ?!
), do yourself a favor and play UNBEATABLE, it is one of very few games that can change you. ❤💚
Despite it's pacing crimes, technical failings and dreadful jank - UNBEATABLE's charming cast, stylish presentation and heartfelt themes win out. It's a game with love crammed into every corner, and that makes it impossible to hate. This is just as true in it's final chapter - it's rushed, chaotic, messy. But it doesn't matter, as you the finale comes to a close the only thing you'll be feeling is the raw emotions teased out. One of my favourite endings of all time!
the graphics and the music are so cool my ONLY qualm is the low framerate because it makes the fights in the story kinda difficult when coupled with the flashy visuals. but the story is really interesting and i have only played for 4.6 hours but that's lowkey a lot for me and it's only been 2 days. idk i'm rambling but awesome game would recommend
Incredible story, incredible music, incredible visuals. Absolute must play game
if you gay, like ryhthm games, if you like muse dash, if you love women, and most importantly if you love great music and animation, THIS is for you
The best music game with a good story and good music
