This is a charming little post apocalyptic sci-fi pnc game. Its atmosphere really stands out, elevated by beautifully melancholic music. The cyberpunk visuals are nice and overall it delivers a very enjoyable experience. You quickly grow to care about Nymo’s journey and feel invested in seeing how it ends. The narrative is engaging, and I appreciated the conclusion. It’s easy to get into, with no complicated menus and only occasional switching between another character. There’s also a decent card based mini game that adds some variety. A few quality of life improvements would help. At times, it’s unclear when you’ve picked up certain items, and a small narrative improvement would be to fix how he escapes the alchemist it was abit ridiculous and unfitting with the rest of the game IMO. Thankfully, the game includes clear hotspot indicators, something that’s sometimes missing in pnc titles and makes a big difference here. Overall, I enjoyed my time with it, found myself wanting more, and would definitely pick up a sequel.

Short adventure game, but enjoyable. Hope this review will contribute to removing the Profile features limited tag.
Ultreïa is a paid game. It worked on Win 10, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has subtitles for all dialogue. Like the classic point-and-click adventure games from the '90s. Maybe buy this game, if you liked classic point-and-click adventure games from the '90s. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program.
Abstract
A very indie quest with speaking voices in your head. Windows Unity port works more or less fine on Steam Deck out of the box (Proton 9.0-4) with external FHD (1920x1080) monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Machinarium
Good graphics. Good story.
Ultreïa is a pretty fun little point'n'click. If you're a regular point'n'click player, the puzzles will be very straightforward, but they're not so simple as to seem like busywork. They're all logical in the world of the game, and you get all the clues you need, so you never waste time wandering around trying to combine everything with everything. The storyline is less sci-fi and more of a surreal spaghetti western, and the music and graphics support that vibe. My sole complaint with the game is that in order to complete it, you need to unnecessarily repeat a section of the game you already played, which is a bit tedious. But because the whole thing is only about 3 hours long, that doesn't matter too much. Definitely worth a purchase if you're into adventure games.
Teaboy's Basic(ish) Reviews....I read a lot of reviews when looking at games on Steam, and it quickly gets tiring – those who write involved, down to the micron scale reviews, although helpful, end up like looking at War & Peace when you’ve only got time for a quick 5 minute dump! This is middle of the road and to the point – not easy for me as I tend towards sesquipedalian loquaciousness! Vociferously Verbose? Alright, verbal diarrhoea. (Although I hate panning a developer’s work and all the time, effort and love they put into designing these – it is their life after all – this is my honest, personal opinion of my level of enjoyment. Sorry devs!). A note on time played: My Steam clock does not seem to work properly, indeed, it even minuses time on occasion! Plus, I have a tendency to wander off and leave games running at times, so time played may not be entirely accurate! Teaboy’s Tonsil Titillators or Toenail Titbits! (Rating) Tonsil Tickler (Totally Tops): The frenchy of which you always dreamt! To quote a master, “She’s got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a Man’s tonsils!”. An absolute masterpiece and joy to play. The Tits (Terrific): Everyone loves playing with these! Not THE best bit, but such fun on their own you can be lost for hours....mmmm. What most games you really like score – perfection is so rare after all. Torso Teaser (Taker of your Time): It’s a flat stomach....sure it’s nice to look at, run your fingers over, slobber on a bit, sometimes that bellybutton gets your motor running....but it's just basically the corridor between the two ‘gaming rooms’. The definitive ‘Meh’ - the middle ‘sideways thumb’ option for which everyone on Steam cries. Todger/Tadger & (scroTum) Taters (Tedious): Is it an ‘a’ or is it an ‘o’? Who cares! The meat can be fun to play with for about 5 minutes of your entire day, the rest it just hangs there and generally gets in the way of doing something else. The main problem of course, is the two veg sticking to your inside thigh. This is what this game feels like – the occasional/rare bouts of fun, the rest bobbing like a 19th century British Policeman (now you know why!). Toenail Tornado (Total Toss): A playthrough so appalling it’s like being trapped in a Turkish sauna with the ugliest, hairiest, fattest, sweatiest beast of a neolithic hominid who’s trimming his toenails using pliers and the splinters are reminiscent of a scene from the Normandy Landings. My god how did this get released!? Teaboy Touts (Score): Torso Teaser The Review: It's as middle of the road as the lane-dividing line of paint. It's also Very short - I actually got stuck twice (the usual 'obvious so overlooked' stuff) so referred to the only guide on Steam (cheers) - I played the free prologue first and it was so basic I thought the game would be a relaxing point & click adventure with little to no hair-pulling. For the most part this is exactly what you get. It does have a very dark lighting scheme, some scenes almost unseeable. This is all a part of the ambience of the game but is a bit too much - lovely artwork/graphics, so why hide it? You can, however, press spacebar to highlight interactive objects which makes it way easier than other like games and saves on 'search frustration'. I discovered you can double-left-click to double walk speed/cut to next scene (it does not tell you this - but many other like games have this feature and they do nod towards this game following the trend) but it does not always work and some scenes have you watching your protagonist waddling like he's desperate for a massive dump; turtle's head; touching cloth; about to drop the kids off by the pool style. We're talking seconds here, but it does pile up when going back n forth in same scenes. The ending will probably leave you with a, "Eh? You what? Come again? I'll just let myself out...." but it's basically the time-loop continuum using the actual grandfather paradox cliche - you'd never see the obvious trope coming ^^ I couldn't be bothered to do the alternate ending seeing as you have to play the entire prologue/motel (first stage) Again - I've already played it twice as the prologue does not link to the full game. But it's a good enough game to warrant purchase and playthrough, and I got it on a whopping sale, 90% I think, less than £2 so no complaints. Other reviews have said it is bare-bones, but that's harsh. There are a lot of interactive objects that literally do nothing, and this always baffles me in these types of games, but heyho, they all do it! It's got enough for a simple adventure, and looks nice. I've played far worse for less cost than this and still felt ripped-off, so this is no skin off of any nose!
