About
The pool bar is always open! Ultrapool is a colorful roguelike about playing pool with a bunch of wacky balls with crazy effects. Carefully craft a perfect build and get the craziest trickshots!
Get comfy, choose a cocktail, and get ready for a very special game of pool. Assemble a triangle of balls with strange effects and get the sickest trickshots. The bartenders won't be easy to impress!
Ultrapool is an arcade-y colorful roguelike that plays like a pool version of Balatro and Super Auto Pets. Pocketing balls gives you score, and extra score gives you money you can spend at the bar to buy and improve your set of balls. Try to survive 10 rounds!

We got both! Easy to pick up pool mechanics: just get the balls in the holes! But as you discover the wacky abilities the balls have, you'll get new ideas of how to get your score ever higher.
A ghost ball that reappears on the table? A chicken ball that lays spherical eggs? A bomb that explodes if you bump it too much? The Earth? Anything is possible (as long as it's round and it rolls nicely, no cubes allowed!)

Once you think you know the game, the cocktail bar opens. Ask the bartender to mix any two balls and he will serve you something special! Some of these will feel like they should break the game wide open, but you'll need every edge you can get if you want to pull off an all nighter.

This takes all the good parts of Balatro and improves on the repetitive/boring parts of Balatro.
They're calling this the whitetest pool game ever
Played a ton of the demo and beta test, the full release works great :D It takes a bit to get going, unlocking the higher difficulties and sets but I had it done in about two hours so not bad at all! Super fun game that makes you think hard about ball combos (ie. doesn't just hand you the OP stuff) and THANK YOU FOR STEAM REGIONAL PRICING

Great game mixing pool with balatro. Obviously done by competent people and is fun to play.
Playtime: 11h on mobile This is absolutely my kind of roguelike – it's addictive af –, but the difficulty spike for the final table level is proving simply too much. I had little trouble with all other levels, and I even managed a spiralling build once or twice, but one unlucky shot and your linchpin ball is gone. In addition, physics can be haphazard. Balls fall into pockets when ones that were closer didn't; buffs sometimes don't register; ball abilities don't work in the shop ... It's nothing major, but of course it takes away a bit of the fun. Might change this review in the future, but rn it's a no for me.
I like the core gameplay loop and the art a lot. Music needs some variety, a jukebox would be a very cool addition. I recommend not trying to finish any all-nighters until you make it through a few of the other sets. The fun sets come much later, and if you're a completionist I can see you easily getting bored of the earlier available sets.
Loads of balls with loads of effects, interactions, synergies, etc. Has a good "just one more run" feeling to it.
I love a good arcade pool game and I love a fun roguelite. This is a great combo of the two. Plays great on the Steam Deck, too (once I turned off tapping the touchpad counts as a click!).
Buen juego, divertido, mezcla de balatro y pool bien ejecutada
Ultracool! Very fun and cosy game :)
