About
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts aims to be the first game of its kind - a true naval warfare game - which offers a unique opportunity to design and build countless variations of realistic looking warships combined with an extremely in-depth and realistic combat model. We are absolutely excited with what we are making and we hope everyone who is interested about the dreadnought era and naval warfare, will join our ambitious project and support us.
BUILD THE BATTLESHIPS THE WAY YOU WANT
Become the architect of powerful warships, from small torpedo boats to mighty Battleships! Recreate famous ships such as the HMS Dreadnought and countless speculative designs. Pick turret layout, armor scheme, funnel placement, tower variations making each ship look and feel unique. Their hull characteristics, internal upgrade selection and weight distribution not only modifies their speed and maneuverability but also their weapon effectiveness. Every design detail of your warships has a significant effect on the combat capability of your ships.
STRONG AI
Naval combat becomes immersive and feels even more realistic when your opponent is able to react to your actions with a human-like and unexpected behavior. The AI evaluates the optimal engagement distance, using principles of the “Immunity Zone” and comparing its own firepower versus your ships. The AI uses ammunition wisely, holding fire when necessary or switching shell types according to the armor protection of the target. Unless there is a special mission directive, the AI will not act suicidally and will attempt to withdraw, if its fleet becomes heavily damaged or it is much weaker than yours.
NAVAL ACADEMY & CUSTOM BATTLES
The Custom Battle system allows you to experiment and enjoy naval battles utilizing endless combinations of ship designs in technology eras between the years 1890 and 1950 for ten different nations. Additionally, there is the “Naval Academy” which currently includes 63 battle scenarios, where you will have to design a ship or a squadron to fulfill a certain combat tactical task. These numerous missions will allow you to practice and enjoy the many innovative design and combat aspects of the game.
THE CAMPAIGN
You can fully design your fleet, immerse yourself in epic naval battles and make crucial strategic decisions on the map with a single goal to defeat your opponents by annihilating their fleets and strangling their economy. The map includes necessary historical and strategic aspects that can simulate actual facts of the period 1890-1940.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overall it is a good game. The developers spent some time ensuring accurate ballistic performance and for the most part the hulls and attachments are historically accurate. There are some issues with the game. Some USA hulls have strange boxes where the superstructure should be. This detracts from the historical feel for those who like to play USA. The second issue is the fleet commands in battle are a little wonky. To center on a division of a fleet requires a double click but often it combines the fleet into a single unit which requires breaking the fleet into individual ships then reforming it by divisions. A laborious process. Also the player torpedoes seem rather stupid, frequently failing to launch but the AI's torpedoes seem to always launch and are fired by Davy Crocket. In battle unless you hugely outnumber the AI fight you own battles. The AI auto resolve tends to break even or favor the AI. Most experienced players know to fight your own battles but that is the fun of the game anyway. The ability to build warships is broken. Ship repairs in Puerto Rico count against you ship building tonnage which should be based on continental USA ports. This results in heavy penalties if you exceed the building limit. This SUCKS as ship repairs are auto completed in port and sometimes the ships are auto removed from the fleet and placed in a port. Also, sometimes I need that tonnage for an invasion but now I am short. The most aggravating issue is the AI pulling the players ships out of port on missions during war. That carefully crafted exactly 100K ton fleet I need for an invasion is now 75K tons and when the ships come back, they typically need repairs so the IA takes other undamaged ships next turn. Now my 100K ton fleet is down to 50K tones and inadequate for the invasion I had planned. This makes the game more active but overall really SUCKS.. I wish they would add a toggle to turn this off. Theoretically you can change the ships status in port to prevent this but most of the time the AI pulls the ships before the player has a chance to change the ships status. Overall this is a god game but needs some tweaks to be a great game. I started playing with beta and the devs did a good job, showed they really tried to get things right. But, they just stopped short of that finale polish to put the game over the top.
Super addicting and tickles the tism
trash game
I've only played vanilla since I've had it. The game is very hard and it is how it is but it's absolutely fine at it's price point for that, and offers great depth and value for where it is. I understand disappointment that they could not take it farther but for anyone interested it is worth it.
So it can be a bit demanding on the PC side however it is very fun and has a reasonable amount of creative freedom
