About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

Simple and fun, however it gets repetitive so if you dont like that then you probably wont like this game unless they add other game modes.
Игра еще сырость полная
One of the best F2P games on steam right now, Its extremely fun, has a good amount of content for being early access, and its quite polished already! There's also some player-friendly features, like exiting a match when you die and picking up XP after it finishes, or earning salutes to give to other players so they gain money! Give it a try! It'll be worth it!

lovely game, short rounds with deep enough potential strategy. improves as you learn and gain awareness. seems like clan battles would be a blast
Great game! Even if it's technically a competitive shooter you can still play it casually (in standard game mode), because the matches are really short so your mistakes are at most a minor inconvenience for like 5 mins until the game ends or you die. Winning also doesn't matter that much as long as you have done something since you still gain plenty experience anyway. Team play is really important (you can do without but you'll see the difference), any time my team just happened to work together everything just starts working (almost as if this is the way the game was supposed to be played). Balance between tanks feels really good, there is also a rock paper scissors aspect to it that can be overcome by situation and skill (or just having numbers advantage). Also the game is free, just try it you'll see what I mean. (I recommend starting with something like the Ark (sniper tank) or spending your initial money on a Rook (just all around good tank), or just go into a sandbox match and try out all the tanks (tho they won't behave the same under pressure and movement of a normal match but it'll give you an idea) (I also recommend not starting with light tanks if you really don't know if you'll like the game, they are a bit more tricky and easier to suffer with if you have no idea what you're doing)) Just play the game, It's good, It's free, It's quick. (ps. the game also works with proton (so linux/steam deck))
игра тупо на пускает в матч, сервера дерьмо XD
good
Better than WoT
Doesn't require much, you just boot up and play, it's simple and fun!
It's free and it's fun! Pulled me out of my self-imposed "no pvp shooters" ban. It's really refreshing to play a multiplayer game that's more slower and tactical that I can't really play on autopilot, but that's not to say that game isn't easy to get into. Once you get the basics, especially how line of sight works. I haven't played a game like this except for War Thunder. But it caught my interest because the aesthetics (especially Maul) reminded me of the tank battles I would get into in PlanetSide 2. This game is like a nostalgic trip down memory lane for that kind of gameplay (but more in-depth in comparison). I started out as the healer tank Valor, which is a good first tank choice to start with. But I really wanted to play as Ikarus, the 4 shell-shot light tank that can transform into a freaking jet, because it seemed like the most fun (and overpowered) way to play, and it is if you know what you're doing and the enemy team isn't well coordinated! As a solo queuer, it is a bit of a roll of the dice on the coordination front but it's a reality I accept, and there are good pinging options for communication when needed. Along with Ikarus, I've found Ark (bush sniper tank) and Alecto (light hover tank with a dash) to be the tanks that have clicked with me the most in that they're simultaniously the most fun to play and easy to get into. Those three are also probably some of the best tanks in the game period, with Alecto probably being busted balance wise according to the pros. I haven't played as all of the tanks yet, mostly because they don't look as exciting to play as the above at least right now, that and you need to unlock them and then level them by playing them to unlock their full potential and customization options (more stealthy or more damage, alternate tank shell types etc). This can be a source of frustration to some players in that if they want to try out a new tank they have to play them in a weakened state first against other players who have levelled up their tank. Honestly I do find it weird how standard this sort of progression system is in some mp games like Battlefield, and in the end I don't think it's a big deal, and I think it's in there to demonstrate what kind of tank it is and how to play it by having you invest in certain tech points, and to keep you playing and learning how to play that tank. I usually don't play Early Access games either because I'd rather wait for the inevitable superior full release, but this game is polished, fun and relatively bug free right now, and I am excited to see how it gets updated into the future! The devs have communicated that they are not going to have any P2W mechanics, and that the only microtransactions will be cosmetic - but at time of writing there is only one way to give them money and it's a single payment with no option to purchase the in-game currency, and the devs have said that they have no plans IIRC to start focusing on finding ways to monetize because it's still in EA, which is a refreshing thing to hear. They've done a good job cultivating a little community around this game and I only hope the game will florish out of EA and beyond.
