About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

I thought it would be a game where you build your own tanks based on the ads, but it's just world of tanks with hover tanks and stupid abilities. The "sniper" tank is (surprise!) a hover tank, which is hilarious because it means you can only "snipe" with it when your ultimate ability is charged to hold you in place long enough to take an aimed shot...what a waste of credits that tank was. I found it pretty boring
pretty fun. lots of tanks and the pacing for the xp and money earnings is also good. Almost as soon as you get to level 20 on a tank and unlock mostly everything you get another one for you to try and and upgrade. I feel like I'm continuously unlocking things instead of just endlessly grinding.

A fun tank pvp game. It feels balanced overall, with no clear absolute best choice for every situation. You can jump in for a ten-minute game easily, and the fact that you can leave when you die and join a new game right away adds to the quick fun. The monetization feels fair from what I've seen so far. The tanks available to all players are actually pretty great tanks, and you unlock new ones as you play. Also, you get enough currency to unlock almost any tank just from watching the tutorial video. Very importantly, the game is under 5 GB, and it has amazing optimization, as it can play even on my aged 1050 Ti without looking like a brown smear. It's also pretty colorful, stylized, and nice to look at, a stark difference to most modern games which are just brown and gray with "realistic" graphics.
valorant world of tanks
13/10 would teleport under the map again
Nice Tankshooter
not much to say yet, it's just not where it needs to be yet in terms of balance and game performance.
MODERN DAY TANKS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!
Tyr is a lightweight free to play team based sci-fi tank shooter. This game does just about everything right. The controls are great, the tanks are cool, and the gameplay is top notch. And the best part is that unlike some other free to play tank games... This one doesn't demand your money or offer any pay to win options. All tanks as of now are completely free and can ONLY be earned, not purchased with real money. I find myself having significantly more fun in this game than War Thunder or World of Tanks. The sci-fi element also gives the devs the freedom to experiment with unconventional, and impossible, tank designs! I thoroughly recommend this game to anybody interested.
