About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

Hell ya. TANKS!
Nah this game slaps. WoT peaked over 10 years ago, War Thunder is a second job, and Tanki is somehow the most predatory gacha game ever made. THIS tank shooter is balanced, fun, doesn't take 4 IRL years to unlock everything, and rewards you for just being good at the game. Could not recommend more for casual fun with friends or even just solo after work or something. 10/10

a rather unique blend of tank game like WoT and a hero shooter. lots of fun to be had even in EA, good game. i still dont understand how when im aiming at a heavy tank i cant seem to get any good spots to hit it at, but when im in the same tank facing someone they can hit any small spot they like easy-peasy and im helpless against it, but that's just me being salty.
You know what, I'm having a really swell time sitting in bushes and clicking on green spots.

yeah some tanks are clearly better than others. Cool at the beggining before you start noticing it has the same problems as any other tanks, and hero shooter games. Clearly the devs had favourites and they prioritized them.
After 30h of playing i can say this game is really fun. The only problem i see in this game is that you dont get progress anymore at some point because the lv 20 is reached fast. My suggestion would be to give tech point up to lv 25 (1 point for each lv). This would not give too big of an advantage but you have more motivation to grind your favorite tanks.
I've tried a few hero shooters before this, and Tyr is the first that really grabbed my attention. I feel like I'm actually forced to think about my movement and actions rather in order to not expose spots on my tank with weak armor, or get spotted. Tyr is really what I've been looking in this genre, can't wait to see where it goes! Pros: - General concept is easy to learn - Armor system is immensely satisfying, and really forces you to think about positioning more - From the outside you might get the impression that the game is really slow pace and matches will take ages, but its actually quite quick, only about 5-10 minutes per match, plus you can queue into another if you've died - Its free, and there aren't crazy in-game purchases, only cosmetics - Pretty active player base - Moderately fast progression, depends on what you've played previously - You can customize the skills and stats of your tanks to make different builds, its pretty in-depth - Wide variety of tanks for a bunch of playstyles - No fps issues that I've experienced with a pretty good laptop Cons: - Its in early access, so things are likely to change quite a bit, but its free so its not much of a con in my opinion. - There isn't an in-game text or voice chat, which can be pretty problematic in a team based game, you'll have to use discord or another method - In the regular gamemode you can only have up to 2 other friends join you in a party (likely to change in the future) - Ranked mode isn't always available to play (at least for now)
Almost 0 good servers, no adds to attract new players. Great concept, it had so much potential, but the game is bound to end up dead.
Так и не понял как управлять танком одной рукой, если во второй бутылка пива
