Two the Top

Two The Top is a very good game that deserves more attention. Me and my friend beat the game in just a few hours, but we still both thoroughly enjoyed our time with the game. The platforming feels responsive and intuitive with the level design always keeping the mechanics in mind, as well as the areas themselves being very well designed in general. Despite how small the climb can feel once reaching the end, the mountain packs several screens of challenges where you must plan your next move carefully, which is something I feel I don't see much with many platformers. The stakes at hand when making a mistake also add to the caution needed when progressing, as sometimes a simple error can cause a fair amount of progress lost. However, this is one thing I love about Two The Top. You lose a FAIR amount of progress. Unlike many other games of this calibre, Two The Top's areas are designed in a way where they test your patience by sending you far enough where it feels like you've lost a significant chunk of progress, but I never felt that it was unfair in how far it would send me or my friend when either of us fell. It typically seems that most areas will send you to the beginning of that area for most cases, especially with the last couple, which also helps to keep the game engaging throughout. The theming and mechanics found within each area are another reason why I thoroughly enjoyed this game as much as I did. Each new area is designed around a newly introduced mechanic up until the final area which focuses more on your platforming skills which I think is a great test of might and serves as a good "final boss" for the mountain. The visuals and music work together to keep you relaxed as you climb, with each area having its own independent charming music that chimes in every now and again while you climb, with unique visuals to accompany this, whether it be falling leaves, a brisk sunset or falling stars in the night sky. And to top it all off, only one person needs to buy this game in order for both of you to play it. I really enjoyed my time with Two The Top, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging co-op experience. 10/10 couples therapy

esse jogo eh MUITO bom, principalmente com aquele amigo de vdd que vcs nunca se abandonam mesmo ele errando o pulo mais fácil da vida dele, eh um plataforma de precisão com uma progressão de dificuldade justa e que não é frustrante de uma forma ruim, se vc erra um pulo vc sabe q foi culpa sua e não injustiça do jogo de fazer algo de filha da puta, ao mesmo tempo q ele te pune na medida certa quando vc erra, você cai, mas não vai voltar pro começo do jogo e ficar frustrado. 10/10
