pride??? Turnip BOY Plushie . Nah. toooooooo Geh. refunded. ez
Very short, but a fun bullet hell with some good writing. Considering how short the main game will take you (2-3 hours) I'd recommend it on a sale, but know you're paying for the dialogue not the gameplay.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Definitely worth on sale, about 80%
The story is genuinely insane, and surprisingly has a high capability of having really deep lore or at least a spinoff that does not have Turnip Boy and instead tells the story of the other characters. I finished it in about 2 Hours. The story is fun and whacky, art style is great, music is good... though, I just don't recommend getting it in full price.
In terms of story and endgame...
Honestly, not much to do, but at least there's even something to begin with which is nice. The story itself is extremely linear, which is fine, but I guess I was just hoping that there would be some dialogue noticing and reacting to the things that I do. In the end, the characters just basically become signs that say the same thing over and over again. I can remember at most 1 character that has dialogue that actually reacts to your actions in the open world and not related to the main story.
If I were to rate it to the Toby Standards
5/5 Story, 3/5 Music, 1/5 Responsiveness
If you're on Linux...
Force Proton, since the native version does not work and honestly should just be removed from the versions.
This is a really nice, cute little game! It's fairly short (100%ed in ~7 hours) but very very worth it :) It's sweet, funny and actually kind of dark in some places. Surprisingly fun gameplay too, I still log in to play the endless mode every so often. P.S. the end credits song, imo, is on the level of PvZ's Zombies on the Lawn. That alone should be enough reason to give this game a try :D
Turnip Boy commits to a life of crime by becoming the village's go-to errand monkey. A two-hour-long cascade of boring fetch quests, with hardly a few chuckles scattered along the way.
¿¿Qué pagar impuestos es obligatorio?? Jajajaja, que buen chiste ¿Qué sigue, es ilegal el lavado de dinero?
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a short, cute, top-down adventurer akin to Zelda. The story is silly, the characters are charming, and there's a variety of jokes and humorous flavour text that really adds to the vibe of not taking itself too seriously, while also being a blast! 7/10, might 100% later.

The game is short but very fun and cute. Not quite worth the full price of $15 considering it can be finished in only a few hours so I would wait for a sale.
i LOVED this game and its insane story. i also LOVED the roguelike gamemode you unlock after beating the game also crancran deserved it
