Your truck is magic and you now owe a soul debt to the buff isekai elf girl living in your head. Run over pedestrians as Truck-kun in a chaotic OVA-sized campaign, make deliveries, and defeat the Skeleton King across two worlds in this anime driving game with heart!

Carissa Ward was all set to start her new job as the VP of marketing--until YOU hit her with your truck and transported her consciousness to a world of fantasy and magic! Rather than accept her fate, gathering a party and going on a journey of growth and self-discovery, Carissa uses all her knowledge of anime tropes and Japanese RPGs to find a different path:

Pressed into the service of the newly-incarnated buff anime elf, you'll speed your magic delivery truck to complete objectives across two worlds in a focused and flavorful OVA-sized campaign, running over pedestrians, sending them to another world as Truck-kun, and helping Carissa power up a Galactic Gate with the stars you generate together. The Skeleton King waits on the other end of the great divide, and the only way Carissa is getting home is to take a Scroll of Resurrection from his weird, dead, bony hands.
Good luck!!!
Dodge cops, make deliveries, and smash through objects in the chaotic small town of Wenvale, USA!
Complete objectives across two worlds to power up a Galactic Gate with stars and unlock a subversive, heartwarming story rooted in our love for anime.
Run over pedestrians to turn them into monsters Carissa can slay for stars and XP. It's fine! Don't worry! Stop thinking about it!!
Energetic, ska-inspired soundtrack by award-winning composer David Mason (Dredge, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3).

If you have a hankering for everything you loved about Crazy Taxi without simply retreading all the same ground, you're going to like this a lot. It's also very Crazy Taxi in the not so great ways. Coming to a stop and reversing can be clumsy, it's possible to get stuck in some weird collisions, and not all routes/objectives will be fairly distributed. Once again, if you like Crazy Taxi, you're used to this. My biggest complaints is that the objectives for moving the story along are incredibly unbalanced in time and effort, especially the one for boosting some number of meters. Obviously you want to go fast, but the game somewhat discourages you from recklessly boosting since there's a cooldown on it and you need it to go through armored objects. This will lead to a situation where every other objective is done, but all you have left to do is mindlessly boost thousands of meters for no particular reason. I think all of these boosting milestones could be toned down, or outright removed and the game would be significantly better paced. Ultimately, you don't need my review; the demo will show you everything you need to know about whether you will like this game or not. It's not going to surprise you a whole lot more than what the demo showed, but this also isn't supposed to be a super in-depth game.

Overall a very fun game with that's a great mix of Crazy Taxi meets Katamari Damacy! Only problem I have with it is lack of content. The game can be completed in 2-3 hours, there is only one map, and no real progression or unlocks. I would say if you can pick this game up for less than $10 it is worth your time as a fun distraction. Hopefully the devs will update it with more content, but until then it is a mild recommendation.
This is an absolute delight of a game if you like driving games but constantly find yourself hitting things and experiencing the video game equivalent of the zoomies because all of that works towards a good cause.
Does exactly what it says on the tin - immediate, ridiculous dumb fun, with a frantic side and funny writing. I've been following Xalavier for years and was never able to actually like any of his games until now, and he's finally done it; Truck-kun is super fun. Truck-kun is also a nervous, twitchy beast, and learning how to tame his boost and drift is a pleasure.
Played on Steam deck. Fun Game Totaly recommend the game.
If you love weird games, this gem is for you!
Very solid mash-up of game elements. Individual runs makes it easy to play for as little or as long as you want. Fun music and art. Even though it's a bit of a parody, it still is an earnest isekai story at the end of the day.
Isekai is probably my least favourite anime genre for a variety of reasons, but this game is pretty fun
Fun little game. It's like Carmageddon with Isekai mixed together, but you race against time and complete objectives, and not other competitors. Some optimizations can work, as sometimes my game loses a few frames when I hit too many cars and armored objects at the same time and too fast, but that'll be patched easily I'm sure. I've had some negatives. One was the lack of objective counter. If you want people to get certain achievements, Flow State for example, counters should be available, either in game or on Steam's achievement list. I'm still clueless doing objectives back to back thinking I'm close to getting Flow State every run. Still working on that as I type this review. The other issue was delivery objectives. I honestly hoped there was more than just going from Point A to Point B dropping boxes off, like a random temp power up of some kind. Right now, it's just something to add 30-60 seconds to the clock. Either way, it's not a bad game to waste time on. It's quick to load up on, especially on an HDD if you still have those.
Lovely game about a lady who got Isekai'd into a buff elf lady!
