Troublemaker is an action-adventure-beat-'em-up game about the most important and terrifying part of everyone's life: High school. As Budi, the new transfer to one of Indonesia's finest high schools, literally fight your way to the top of the social food chain through the school's annual student fighting tournament, aptly named Raise Your Gang.
Inspired by beat-'em-up classics, Troublemaker is all about smooth and over-the-top combat in Indonesia's greatest adolescent combat arena. Punch, kick, break, smash, or gently swing Budi’s way up to the top with more than 30 iconic moves.
Square up with your best friends and mortal enemies, there can only be one winner!
Budi won't be fighting across the school alone. Parakacuk, his gang, will be there to help him out.
Rani the class boss will lend her smarts, Zaenal his might, and Boby...well, Boby's just Boby.
Together, they'll face the crushing mortal challenges of high school (or, you know, die trying).

Voto: 6.8/10 Un buon beat 'em up indie con tanta personalità, ma ancora acerbo. Troublemaker è uno di quei giochi che sorprendono più per il contesto che per la complessità del gameplay. L'ambientazione in un liceo indonesiano è originale e riesce a distinguersi dalle produzioni più famose a cui si ispira, come Yakuza e Bully. Il sistema di combattimento è semplice ma divertente, accompagnato da numerosi minigiochi e da una discreta varietà di attività che spezzano il ritmo della campagna. Ho apprezzato anche alcuni momenti particolari della storia, soprattutto il combattimento finale, che richiama chiaramente lo stile dei duelli della serie Yakuza. Purtroppo il gioco mostra anche diversi limiti. Le missioni tendono a diventare ripetitive, alcune animazioni e collisioni sono poco rifinite, sono presenti piccoli bug e il combat system non offre la stessa profondità dei migliori esponenti del genere. Anche il doppiaggio e alcuni capitoli mi hanno convinto solo in parte. Nel complesso è un progetto indie realizzato con passione, che riesce a costruirsi una propria identità senza limitarsi a copiare i giochi a cui si ispira. Se vi piacciono i beat 'em up con ambientazione scolastica e non vi aspettate il livello qualitativo di una produzione AAA, merita sicuramente una possibilità.
