Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 16 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game’s characters and lore are crafted in collaboration with award-winning poet and sci-fi novelist Ada Hoffmann, author of The Outside, The Fallen, and The Infinite.
As the story unfolds, new starting points are unlocked across the multiverse, allowing each run to begin deeper into the journey. Even when a run doesn’t advance the narrative, players earn resources that can be invested in permanent upgrades back at the Citadel — steadily strengthening their characters, expanding their options, and ensuring meaningful progress toward the story’s conclusion.

A generally enjoyable roguelike that feels similar to Dead Cells but a bit more simplistic. As with most games in this subgenre, RNG can often determine if you are severely underpowered or God-tier during each run. Meta progression is present but mostly underwhelming. Story has something to do with alternate universes or the galaxy exploding or something. Not really sure. The three lead characters looks and play almost identically, so there is a huge missed opportunity in terms of gameplay variety. None of the characters are very unique or interesting either. All things considered, the gameplay makes up for a lot of the game's shortcomings. Combat is smooth, flashy, and fast paced. RNG upgrades add some fun variety to the combat. For example, one creates a stasis bubble around your character that slows incoming projectiles while another plants explosives on enemies if you time a perfect dodge. Others can be stat buffs, health bonuses, or bonus abilities. Lots of enemy variety and plenty of levels to work through. Bosses are fun too. Runs smooth and visuals are great on a larger monitor. Trinity Fusion isn't one of the subgenre's finest entries, but is definitely worth checking out.
Very Cool, Very Mid
If that makes sense. It has some stuff going for it, but it unfortunately also has a bit more going against it. Anyhoo... I read a lot. I mostly read sci-fi. Alastair Reynolds, Greg Egan, Adrian Tchaikovsky, Asimov, Clement; you get the gist. The story here feels like it's a split between Terminal World and House of Suns. And this is a good thing. The environments feel like they'd belong in those worlds. The multiverse twist is very Greg Egan/James Hogan, while the enemies are very Tchaikovsky/Orson Card. It's nailed the space opera-ish, big picture, sci-fi vibe. In spades. I thought the voice acting was decent enough, and the characters have quirky personalities to them (more than everyone did in Revelation Space, at least). So, what's the problem then? The GAMEPLAY. That's the AT-AT Walker in the room. It's not exactly clunky, but it's not exactly as precise as you'd want this kind of game to be. You have some platforming, you have your combat, and they do do something interesting with these things.. but it ends up somewhere between "almost clunk, and almost there". Instead of writing a thesis here, I'll just list some gripes I have so far; - Meta-progression: yes, it's there. But it is SLOW. Meta-progression is very very slow, because almost everything uses the SAME currency. It takes a while to unlock some considerably vital perks. - In-game currency: WHY does EVERYTHING cost coin? Hades had a good balance between "this requires coin" and "this requires other things". In this game, almost EVERYTHING requires the same currency; opening certain chests, fusing with your others (which is one of the game's main selling points, by the way..). The economy is significantly worse than Pharloom, and that's saying a lot. - Main/sub weapons are random starting out: this wouldn't be too big a deal, IF certain weapons/sub weapons just didn't suck. Things aren't balanced very well, and it shows, painfully. - Bugs: Almost 3 years since release and I've encountered a few bugs. Random crashes on save slot load, spawning into a map WITHOUT ANY WEAPONS... would have refunded right there, if my game time had been <2 hours. - Random in-game pitch? I exited the hub once, expecting to see the menu, only to be greeted by a dev message going something like "We spent so-and-so many years developing this game... etc etc", and my jaw just dropped. Like "wait... WHY are you trying to pitch the game to me!? I already bought the f**king thing!". Dunno, that was weird... - Balance. Like I said earlier, it's not balanced very well. Runs depend entirely on if you get lucky with good drops or not (more on that below). - The "curses" are NOT worth it. I had a curse once "lift 10 enemies into the sky"; I did not get a single "golf-swing" type weapon or sub weapon during the entire run. So yeah, running around the area taking 30% extra damage with ZERO benefits. - Even some of the "boons" come with a negative, which are poorly balanced. "Deal +100% damage, but take +100% damage", "50% extra health, but heal 50% less", and there are a lot more... like, can I just get a regular boon please? The take 100% damage for example is terribly balanced, your HP will HALVE from one mistake. - The "fusion" thing... as mentioned earlier, it costs money. I do not find it worth while to fuse. It doesn't seem to add anything meaningful to a run or my power level. - Speaking of power level, I don't get weapon/sub weapon power level at all. Everything during a run has a power level: you, your weapons, spells, etc. But if this level 1 weapon is clearly stronger and has better stats than that level 4 weapon, where's my incentive to swap? You get a main that does acid or weak, the "frost blast" sub, and you're set. That's it, no need to ever swap. What's even the point of having power levels? - The late-game shielder enemies are severely unbalanced. You can have a group of 3 VERY tanky and VERY agile enemies ALL being shielded by this shielder... and the shielder will TELEPORT away THREE SCREENS. Yeah, f**k that. [strike]BUT, even considering those negatives, I really love multiverse/space opera stuff, so I'm giving it a barely passing grade. Plus, I got it for like $4.00.[/strike] [strike]So yeah, get it on a DEEP sale.[/strike] I regret this purchase. At least I only wasted $4.00. Edit: Got a prime example of bad balancing. So, I see a sword for sale that's significantly better than the one I have equipped. The special perk is "Inflicts crits on enemies afflicted by weak. No random crits", so I check the element on the sword.... POISON, because of course it is... did anyone even play test this? Why have essentially worthless items in the game?
Technical Stuff
I played with Controller on Steam Deck and my PC. The Game Runs great on Linux.
Impressions
I Discovered this Game by seeing the Demo on some Steam Fest/Discovery Queue. Straight from the Beginning I really liked the Style of the Setting and especially the Music. The Gameplay is fun and responsive as well, but lacks some polish and QOL in some Areas. I like the themes in the Story they were going for. I also like the Fusion Element and how it integrates into Gameplay.
Critique
You only have certain buttons to bind special weapons and abilities to that are sometimes awkward to press, even when e.g. Left or Right Stick click is unused entirely. The Voice Acting works, but is nothing that moved me. The writing feels a bit cheesy at times. The Camera sometimes moves choppy and the game doesn't feel as "fluid" in Frame pacing.
Conclusion
This is my 1st Roguelike Game that I actually played and was interested to continue playing. Again, I really love the Music which is amazing in portraying the Vibe of the game. Playing this game on and off is really fun.
cool concept but not rewarding enough for the difficulty even on easy. too easy to die too hard to heal. 3.5/10
A quite decent combination of roguelike and metroidvania. The game can be rough on the edges, but the gameplay foundation is very solid. Combat is enjoyable and fair, and on medium (veteran) difficulty it looks reasonably challenging - when I die, it's mostly because I misplayed during a fight or the boss did some kind of attack I didn't learn to dodge yet. Metaprogression also seems okay, you get much stronger when you unlock stuff (you can try different build vartiations) but you earn in-game currency slow enough that it will take a while until you unlock everything you want to. If you have some spare money and enjoy that kind of gameplay, give it a chance. It's not Hades 2, but still, it's an enjoyable experience for just 20 USD.
I might just have skill issues but this game is hard lol
Ancora ci sto giocando.
Trinity Fusion is an amazing Metroidvania Roguelike that I had the pleasure of receiving from a viewer. I appreciate the difficulty, and the power up system, but more importantly I really love the dynamic styles between the characters AND THE WEAPONS! The differen't weapon styles from each character is so good, I love how customizable the runs can get. Especially after clearing the run once, I appreciate that not only do I get access to hardcore mode, but I LOVE that you can mod the runs from there to your pleasure. The game is not easy, it is not overly difficult, it's the perfect difficulty for me as a casual player. And I look forward to seeing just how hard I can play the game while beating it. If you love metroidvanias/roguelikes this is a great game to pick up. It honestly feels like Dead Cells, without the need to be pressured to speedrun. Also Altara best girl, I appreciate how non-toxic she is compared to the other 2 alternates
