not the best no more heros game in my opinion :[ but it had some nice things i had to play this game because of the story
Great game with great story, visual aesthetic and soundtrack, however the gameplay is experimental and repetitive, for a short game like this it does not grant much demerit to the overall experience but it is not a perfect game and lacks depth. The other minor fault the game has is the sidequests, tracking jeanne and the hidden cheat codes are boring and laborous with a bad reward-effort result.

Two words... "wasted opportunity" -You are playing inside many different games but the gameplay is almost the same all the time -All levels are TOO LONG and boring -They give more characters at the end of the game.... ok BUT they all start at level 1 and almost unusable without some atrocious grind -The story is almost non existent , the only real plot you get is through the visual novel portion -The skills.... all the good one is given from the start it's almost pointless to use the advanced you find further in the game, to try hit the bosses with normal attacks you must all the time stun them or you will get an instant retaliate and the dodges won't save you cause they have not any invincible frames not even the special dodge that you use as a skill -and for last the game won't even boot if you don't insert special boot command that you need to look for in discussion thread (YEA seems really hard to fix this one)
Mixed feelings on this one. Hard to thumbs down a Suda51 game, but it's, like, kind of exactly what you'd expect from him, by now. Gameplay's just not as good as the usual No More Heroes games, the antagonists, which are a large part of why these games work, are boring; but, the levels themselves have a fair bit of charm, it's still made with that strange, pouty yet wonderful joie de vivre, and, as an experience, I don't regret playing through it; it's ultimately a spin-off, and it performs as a spin-off typically does. Unremarkable but worth checking if you're a big sudahead.
