Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As Traveler entered that forbidden place and approached the machine, the instrument on his back began to hum. Suddenly, it spoke with a maniacal voice.
"You seek to reunite the lovers?" Traveler stared in stunned silence. "Find the three fates…", the mad device droned on - and Traveler realized what he must do.

Traveler's Refrain is a dark song-casting, story-driven action RPG about one man's quest to find his long-lost love and rekindle his passion. Armed with a magical bouzouki, Traveler will face horrific abominations, challenging puzzles, and unravel the mysteries of a dark forest forbidden to all, as an ancient conflict reaches a fever pitch. It is up to the player to defy the Mecha-Goddesses of Fate and find the machine that will reunite Traveler with his long-lost love.

Traveler's magical instrument is capable of casting devastating song-spells as he battles enemies in a gorgeous, smooth combat system. Mix song-spells with elemental melee weapons to produce devastating combos. Show your mastery of music-combat, delivering perfectly timed song-spells and elevate combat to a completely different level.

A domain full of mysteries and secrets awaits! Dangers and opportunities lurk among the trees and ruins that fill the ancient woods. Traveler will meet other adventurers, pursuing their own goals, be they human or robot. He will also encounter ancient mysteries that only his mastery of song-spells can solve, by altering environments and manipulating objects.

Your choices will define how the music evolves, creating a unique soundtrack as you adventure through the forest. The Totems, spells, abilities, and more will allow you to customize the playstyle and face the complex dungeons and multi-phase boss battles on your own terms, defying the Fates - and perhaps defining the future of this dark world...

Every aspect of the game has been created to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience, from the painted art style to each layer of music. Traveler’s voice is provided by multi-genre artist Essenger, with additional voiceover provided by talented metal artists, representing the broad variety and sheer talent of the genre.

Traveler's Refrain brings me back to some of my early days of gaming. It triggers a nostalgia that I remember from the some of the first action RPGs I played. It's unique mechanics and immersive and ethereal environment really pulls you in. It is obvious that Traveler's Refrain is a labor of love. The gaming community needs more games like this!
Charming indie game with fantastic art. The only thing better than the art is the music. Making decisions on the story affecting the music, and tone of the game is a great addition to the genre. The game reminds me of playing an old zelda game with puzzles and combat. The game has voice acting and is heavily story driven. Still early on will update once i complete it.

Amazing artwork! Fun player journey. Great game!
Traveler’s Refrain is a fun game that stands out. The hand-drawn art is amazing and makes every scene feel alive. It's fun using the bouzouki to cast song-spells and cool magical weapons. You mix tunes with melee attacks to make awesome combos. The forest is full of secrets and puzzles, and the story is great. It’s fun, smooth, and has lots of replay value. Definitely worth checking out!
Game is really good. I'm having a blast. I really like the story of looking for your lost love. It is not a happy go lucky tale and there is good mystery about what's going on. I really like this flavor and tone of the game. The song spells are great and the puzzles are fun. My only gripe is that some parts are bugged and you have to restart. The saves are auto so if it was a while before the save happened you will have to repeat that part. You can get trapped in you accidently walk into like trees that are supposed to be solid. It's worth the price imo, the 5 person dev team is fixing bugs and it seems a great story.
WOW! Where to begin. For me, this masterpiece was reminiscent of an N64 game but with new-aged graphics. Immersive map/character animations brings the game to life with a story that keeps you even more engaged. Although I'm still early on (day after release), I'd highly suggest this for a gaming enthusiast who's looking for something new.
Slow, simple, linear exploration and jittery animation style makes the only other thing going for it (the combat) more stylised than fun or interpretable.
Completed but can't recommend. Good effort for a team of 5, but..... looks nice, good enough story, but for me the combat was a little stilted, the constant cut scenes, camera panning, and crappy autosave system let's it down for me. Just felt repetitive and bland by the end. Get it on sale perhaps ut not at full whack as other cheaper games do it betterhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/2679660/Travelers_Refrain/#
