Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter

Pure joy from start to finish. if you like JRPGs then this is a must play.

This is a very good remake of the first game, with many modern QoL changes, more dynamic combat and a lot more voice acting. Overall, it's a perfect way for newcomers to get into the series. There *is*, however, a very small problem with this game, that can be easily fixed either on a patch or by mods: The all-new localization is pretty decent, but it doesn't follow all the terms used on the previous games of the series for a couple things, which can generate a bit of confusion. Not huge but still something to be fixed.

Need a solid JRPG? Need something that's a bit different from Final Fantasy? Estelle & Joshua got your back with this one. It's a slow burn to start but if you let it cook and embrace the journey it'll be a good time.

[h1] Огромное спасибо DeadP47 за подгон ШЕДЕВРА [/h1] Это мой первый полноценный опыт с JRPG (если не считать Expedition 33), и я не ожидал, что меня настолько затянет. Игра хороша геймплейно и сюжетно. С каждой главой сюжет набирает обороты и увлекает все сильнее. С огромным удовольствием постепенно узнавал лор и историю мира и королевства Либерл, знакомился с его устройством и персонажами. Отдельно хочется отметить химию между Эстель и Джошуа — наблюдать за развитием их отношений было не менее интересно, чем следить за основным сюжетом. Все герои отлично прописаны и запоминаются. Концовка — невероятная, одновременно грустная, счастливая и загадочная c сочным клиффхэнгером. Очень жду ремейк второй части.

11/10. I’m still in the prologue and already completely blown away. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake is an absolutely phenomenal remake. The graphics are epic, the voice acting is epic, the battle system is epic, the exploration is rewarding, and somehow even smashing bushes feels satisfying. Honestly, everything about it feels crafted with care. The developers clearly understood what made the original special. They preserved its heart while rebuilding it into something modern, beautiful, smooth, and ridiculously enjoyable to play. The world feels alive, the characters are instantly lovable, and every corner makes me want to keep exploring. I’m still only in the prologue, which is slightly terrifying because the game has already earned an 11/10 from me. Epic graphics. Epic voice acting. Epic combat. Epic exploration. Epic everything. I respectfully take my hat off to the developers. This is how you make a remake.

The story of Estelle and Joshua was first introduced to me on the PSP during a very emotional time in my life as such it is close to my heart and it got me again. I think its a faithful modernisation of the story with carefully chosen characters and very good gameplay. I had tremendous fun and am hooked to play the next parts as well. I also cried again at the end, silly me xD

Игра пройдена на 100% Для меня однозначно одна из лучших JRPG из тех в которые я играл за последние лет 5. Сюжет достаточно приземлённый, ставки адекватные, никаких вечных спасителей мира или чего-то подобного, просто проблемы конкретного региона. Персонажи грамотно ротируются от главы к главе, игра скучать не даёт. В игре нет такого безумия в плане побочных заданий как в последних якудзах или такого же артстайла как в персонах, но от этого игра хуже для меня точно не стала. Минусов к игре предъявить особо не могу, получил дикое удовольствие. Все 3 прохождения по ингейм таймеру заняли чуть больше 70 часов. Всем кому нравится жанр, строго рекомендую.
