Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Sep 15 → 18/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A — A world I grew attached to, in chapters that kept running long Completed the main story. Liberl became a place I cared about because of the ordinary people living in it. Recurring NPCs, regional differences and local stories made travelling feel connected. I gradually recognised people and institutions rather than simply passing through the next RPG town. That familiarity was the game's defining strength for me. Estelle and Joshua gave the journey its emotional centre. Their relationship was a major reason to continue, and changing party combinations produced plenty of humour and warmth. I would have liked more scenes with everyone together, but even the smaller groups were enjoyable company. The soundtrack strengthened that attachment, with several themes staying in my playlist after completion. Combat was competent rather than exceptional. Encounters rarely demanded deep adaptation, and quartz offered fewer meaningful build choices than I wanted. Frequent party changes also interrupted the satisfaction of maintaining a setup. Fortunately, very little grinding was required, so the game did not force me to spend even longer with its more limited systems. Pacing was the bigger frustration. The opening's mechanical onboarding and challenge were uneven, and every chapter eventually felt longer than necessary. The slower pace helped build familiarity with the world, but it also delayed developments I was ready to reach. Limited battle-theme variety became noticeable too, especially when the regular music did not suit the scene. The remake's modern presentation made the journey comfortable, and the ending left enough emotional impact and curiosity to make me want the next chapter. I recommend it for players who enjoy getting to know a setting and its cast gradually. If you primarily want deep combat or brisk storytelling, the same slow pace that builds its atmosphere may wear you down. Note : 9,5/10 — Une lettre d'amour aux JRPG à l'ancienne.
What an outstanding retelling of the original Trails in the Sky. This is a great way to make the beginning of the series accessible to those who aren't thrilled with PSX-style graphics. It's also good for people like me, who haven't played the original Trails in the Sky for quite some time and could use a refresh on the origins of the story. I can't say enough good things about this game and the Legend of Heroes series. SC is going to be even better.
A phenomenal remaster to another incredible game.
Wow, I'm not sure a remake can get better than this.
Emotionally traumatic. 100/10
One of the best remakes of all time!
Played the original back in the day and was waiting for the 2nd chapter to be near to release before starting this again. A faithful reprensentation...but somehow Olivier is much cookier than I recall lol. Says a lot when you realize how he is played in subsequent chapters. But I digress. The Trails series is one of the absolute best in story telling and world building in J-RPGs. Each game builds on the previous ones and there is always always more of this 'aha, this was hinted at previously". Playing this remake gives a lot of of "Oh so this was where they hinted at it" and I love revisiting the first in the series.
