About
TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer is a game about a merchant who rides around in his horse-drawn (or bear-drawn) cart. Starting his journey in his home village of Grampstead, the Tradesman heads off to the other towns and villages of the world. Stock up on marine morsels in Fishpool, quench your thirst at Grubgrog Village's renowned tavern, sell basic necessities in Hoboken, and trample the dirt in Normingham, the capital of these lands!
Trade: buy up stock in one place and sell it out wherever your goods are needed most to earn money and gain trading experience.
Automatic battles with active skills: the roads are perilous, and the more goods you have in your cart, the more dangerous they become.
Your wares aren't just a basket with a price tag - each product has a range of traits that complicate transportation.
Many unique types of mercenaries, each of which you can take a shine to, but not enough to think twice about swapping them out for a better mercenary.
Consumables: study the culinary arts to cook meals and feed your mercenaries. Use power-up scrolls and books to lecture your mercenaries.
Buildable talents: talents for combat, trade, social interactions, and survival.
Transport quests: work as a taxi driver and drop off drunks, children, and wounded guards.
Classic quests: head to marked points on the map and fulfill various characters' requests.
Soulslike quests: go god-knows-where and do god-knows-what.
Plot quests: plot quests!

Honestly this game is an indie gem, especially for the price. I have no idea how people are leaving negative reviews. The devs built a whole detailed world with tons of characters, stories and random stuff to discover. Can’t imagine how much time went into this. It might feel a bit hard at first but once the trading loop clicks it’s super addictive. Buy cheap in one town, sell higher somewhere else - profit. Just make sure you actually read the properties of the goods you’re carrying, they matter A LOT. Building your guards is really fun too. Some ability combos can make your squad insanely strong. Builds with bleeding ability are especially good btw. Biggest mistake you can make is getting greedy in the beginning, buying a ton of expensive stuff and then losing it all. Start small, make some money and slowly explore the map. There’s honestly a ridiculous amount of content here. Funny quests, weird characters, references, challenging bosses and harder areas you unlock as your squad gets stronger. For this price it’s kinda crazy how much playtime you get. Just give it some time and don’t rush. Once it clicks it’s really hard to stop playing.

This game literally breaks my computer no clue what it is screen goes black after some time of playing. Used to work fine on my old PC.
This game is so far from being in a good state. Tooltips are lackluster. It’s an autobattler and you get attacked all the time, even if you’re basically not transporting anything of worth. If you transport anything of worth, you get your cheeks clapped. There is a healing mechanic that works in between battles on the road, but it doesn’t work if you choose a quick fight. This is a refund.
Absolute hidden gem with an addictive trading loop and dynamic difficulty scaling. ( Scales based on cargo ) The world building in this game is pretty great. Every area feels unique , tied to their own cargo surplus and demands There is always an interesting POI that keeps coming back to it. You could easily get distracted with the tons of NPCs in game with its own side quest to keep you from sticking on a single spot. The game itself is grindy in it's own especially when trying to max out the reputation but overall not that bad now since they added the "letters" to boost said reputations. Combat is pretty brutal and we all learn it the hard way :) . Enemies scale up depending on the items you carry and it's recommended to start small eventho it's so tempting to horde stuff. Keep in mind to read the debuffs for each item you carry so you wouldn't get surprised by how strong the enemies are!. The game gets progressively easier as you can buy better mercenaries. All of your mercenaries passively scale as well ( you can actively scale them too if you have the resources and impatient like me :X ). My only grip with this combat is the amount of mercenaries you can store since it would be nice to store a bunch of mercenaries and testing out their combos ( THERE'S LEVELS TO THIS ♥♥♥♥ TRUST ME ) TLDR: Great world building. Combat is BRUTAL yet it's balanced based on how greedy you are :)
