Toy Odyssey is fundamentally an action-adventure platformer. The player spends the night exploring a randomly-generated house, defeating bosses in each of the unique rooms, and then going up against the final boss.

Toy Odyssey has an interesting premise. Unfortunately, this potential has not been realized by the developers. While the graphics and the audio are decent, every other aspect of the game needs improvement. The story is depressing and ultimately ruined by bad writing. Platforming is some of the worst I have ever played, often making it impossible to tell what is a platform and what isn't. Most enemies are annoying in their refusal to telegraph attacks and constant desire to jump on top of the player. And the game likes to spawn the player surrounded by a dozen enemies, making for some cheap deaths. As a result, what could have been a fun little roguelike, is a largely irritating grind that has the player dying over and over while slowly upgrading the character and the base over time, while penalizing casual players by burning a night every time you restart the game.

Not really a roguelike, but death has consequences although your characters lvl progress does not reset. It's good fun!
这游戏太折磨人了。我受了现实的苦我还吃这游戏的苦,真是贱。 这游戏也太冷门了,想找个修改器开都找不到
The most confusing controller setting I've seen in a game. Gameplay is somewhat average, game UI and tutorial are so weird and over complicated for such a casual game. Nothing worth paying for
good game
The game has a lot of charm visually but everything else is mediocre or bad.
