Inspired by the party games Werewolf and Mafia, Town of Salem is a game of murder, mystery and deception.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have been playing this game for a long time, since it was based in browser. I believe 2013? Anyway, it has always been a game I enjoy and I have met a lot of good friends from ToS. ToS takes quite a bit of time and effort to learn every little mechanic and I could see people having a rough time with the barrier of entry, but I would still recommend it. ToS has to be my all time favorite social deduction game and I have sunk many hours into it, even more than is listed on my Steam. The roles are fun and interesting and nothing is more satisfying than making a successful play and carrying your town.. or Mafia. I will say though, the community is rough. People are rude, there's a pretty consistent issue of gamethrowers joining lobbies only to throw and no way to remove them from the lobbies. I'm not sure what could be done to stop these throwers, to my knowledge some of them have been banned multiple times but keep coming back one way or another.

i like this game
Really fun party game. There are different variants of this game but I think the most popular is one-night warewolf. Great game but will challenge your trust with your friends. Definitely a great party game!
horrible dead game with throwers and spammers. there is 0 fun to be had.
I doubt anyone will read this but Town of Salem is a very good game. Takes a long time to learn but every game is fun and chaotic and I would highly suggest. NEVER GET TOS 2
i got banned for reasons that i do not know of. my user has always been the word silly, and then i get banned for it. WHY? I LOVE THIS GAME PLEASE UN BAN ME
Play casual, sweats galore. Play ranked, memes and throwers. Be good at game get called a slur. 9/10
I don't know why I keep coming back to this game to play with trolls and racists, but I do.
15 TEMMUZ GECESİ NE YAPIYORDUN LAN?!
I opened Town of Salem thinking it was a fun little social deduction game. It is not. It is a federally unregulated psychological warfare simulator. Round starts. I say “hello everyone :)” Immediately: “12 is evil” “why is 12 talking so much” “VFR 12” “guilty” “REPORT 12” I was the Doctor. The average Town of Salem match lasts 14 minutes and ages your body approximately 6 years. I trusted a guy named “pee destroyer” because he said “trust me bro.” Worst mistake of my entire life. The game experience consists of: * lying * getting lied to * fake claiming Sheriff * getting random lynched by a guy whose will just says “vibes” * watching the Jailor execute the confirmed Mayor for “acting suspicious” I have seen friendships collapse in real time over this game. One time I spent 20 minutes crafting the perfect Investigator claim with forged wills, fake results, and a believable timeline. A dude named “John Fortnite” just typed: “nah” and the entire town voted me out instantly. The music that plays during the hanging screen has permanently damaged my nervous system. 10/10 I no longer trust anybody in real life
