Souzinengi V is a full-scale RPG that carries on the traditions of RPGs from the good old days. It was made with the challenge of seeing just how interesting battles could be with standard, 5-character, turn-based combat, and whether its character growth system would be fun while remaining simple.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've never been impressed by turn-based rpgs, but this one really takes the cake. Incredible depth in its systems, which the game demands you to master in order to succeed. And despite being tough as nails, the game never feels like you have to grind in order to overcome an encounter, even against the insanely difficult final boss. All you need is to consider every option you're given to find the winning strategy.
Solid old-school RPG.
While this game takes a lot of inspiration from Romancing SaGa 3 especially, the core design isn't all that much alike. SaGa games are often considered very difficult, but they're honestly not. SaGa games are all about giving the player a lot of freedom but you can make it through regardless of your choices with overall reasonable strategies. In this game, regular bosses are like superbosses in other JRPGs. Unless overleveled / overprepared, you need very carefully thought out strategies which will take a lot of trial and error or looking up online, and you will want to keep all party members leveled up so you can switch strategies based on the fight. For me, this gets very exhausting. 50 hours of labyrinth like dungeons with practically unavoidable enemies that spam status ailments or big AOEs followed by a boss that requires superboss-level preparations (more so later into the game than earlier). It's basically the same formula for the entire game. The difficulty options don't even matter much, everything I said applies both to Hard and Easy mode. Easy is just a little more lenient. It's just too much for me, I much prefer SaGa games. But if what I described sounds good to you, then it's a quality product

This was pretty meh. Couldn't keep my attention for very long. Buy Devil of Decline instead.
