Do you like classical antiquity? Do you think that sarissa and heavy cavalry combat (or horse archers if you're playing as Parthia or Scythia) could easily defeat armored pilum throwers? Then, this is the game for you! Just find a mod from the Workshop (I recommend Lanjane's Barbarian Empires.) to replace the infamous Bronze Age Egypt with the Ptolemaic Empire, and you're all set. In all honesty though, the civilizations OTHER than Rome are far more interesting in this period: Greek Cities: Gave us philosophy, mathematics and geometry as we know them. And hoplites were pretty much unmatched until testudo enthusiasts came along and ruined everything. Carthage: Phoenicians decided that "Hey, we can do the Greek thing better than the Greeks! We don't have hoplites? Don't worry, we can buy mercenaries instead!" one day, and a maritime trading empire was born. As with all good things, the arena brawlers had to ruin this one too. Scythia: Metalworkers so skilled that the likes of that quality perhaps surpass even what the garum eaters did in their artisanal workshops. Not to mention, this is where the myth of the Amazons was probably inspired from. Have I mentioned the arrow rain yet? You're unbeatable as the rival units chase you in vain.

No Hotseat mode, plus dis game is inferior to several mods fir Medieval Total War 2.

Versión superadora y remasterizada de un juego genial. Es mas lento y se siente diferente especialmente en batalla y algunos detalles de la campaña. En esencia sigue siendo similar, si te gusto el anteirior este te encantara. Ojo con los requierimientos de PC, son mucho mas exigentes.
