A bite-sized 3D Platformer sequel with more focus on the things people enjoyed in the first game like fast gameplay, flow focused levels and cute costumes (two this time).

In fitting with the aesthetic of the era and the bite-sized nature of both titles, this really is just "more Toree 3D" on the whole. Comes out a little better this time, since the levels are more directly designed around speed and give you a better feeling of "flow" overall. On the flipside, collectable stars are now an even more orphaned idea and really don't feel like they matter at all- I avoided most of them straight out of the gate. Honestly, given the price, length, and similarity, you could almost consider Toree 3D and Toree 2 just the front and back halves of a singular game. When you look at things that way the biggest issue I can really identify is that I never really felt compelled to try and collect everything, get S-Rank on the levels or search for hidden content. The pair make for a fun hour long diversion but never really amount to something you want to get stuck into or that feels like it'd be mechanically rewarding to master.

It's what you expect from a 0,99$ game, and no its not bad. Its actually really good for people like me. The people that grew up with Super mario 64. Loved the game. did play it out rather fast tho but its a good game.
Just running through it is super simple and easy, but the speedrun challenges are pretty tough. Unfortunately the game doesn't log any achievements, so you'll never have "completed" this other than just collecting everything. You do unlock additional characters, but the only one with practical purpose is the bat because he will let you collect music CDs scattered around the world. I did everything in about three and a half hours. Collecting all the stars and CDs is easy, the speedruns took me a few hours because they force you to cut around corners and try different strategies without being sure whether or not they are actually going to work in practice.
Could use 25% more spook
PEAK GAME PLAY IT
Thank you for adding boosters.
