If you're looking for some faithful nostalgia, this is an amazing remaster. The controls feel just like they used to, whether that's a good or a bad thing is something I'm still trying to decide. The music is also fantastic, hearing Papa Roach - Blood Brothers immediately brought me back to those days sitting in front of my tiny CRT screen and bailing over and over. Sadly the game is much shorter than I anticipated. I was able to finish both THPS 1 + 2 in an afternoon without much struggle, I replayed the levels a few times for some shenanigans and achievements but was done pretty quickly. And unfortunately, being a relatively niche game that was released a few years ago, the online multiplayer is super dead - I wanted to give this mode a try, but after spending 20 minutes waiting for a match I gave up. Overall, I'd say this is pretty worthwhile to pick up if it's on sale, or if you're itching for that nostalgia fix and have a spare afternoon.
