Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tomba is aight. I give it a lot of credit for originality and creativity. The game is colorful, energetic, and unashamedly weird. Definitely lots of elements to appreciate. However, Tomba is also a surprisingly frustrating experience. You pretty much need a guide and the Special Edition features (thank god for rewind) to make the meat and potatoes fun. I was honestly baffled after around the 5-hour mark by just how little guidance there was. The thought kept occurring to me that any kid drawn to this title for its vibrant colors and "Saturday Morning Cartoon"-esque artwork would quickly get stuck and quit. There's a lot of that NES era esotericism going on here. For example: near the end of the game, there's a moment where you have to "find 7 friends" to progress. I assumed this would be backtracking to call upon important characters interacted with throughout the game. But no, it is just random NPCs for the most part. If I hadn't looked it up, I would have had to talk to literally every NPC in the game in order to find the right ones by process of elimination. Oh, and the 7th 'friend' is something from your inventory. You're just supposed to know to stop looking when you've found 6, I guess. This all sounds so far like an indictment of Tomba. Really it's just a warning about what kind of game it is. If you are reading this and it all sounds like details you can deal with, there is still a charming 2.5D platformer to enjoy under the rough bits. Plus - it is a nicely condensed experience. My playtime for 100% completion was under 20 hours. It is a PlayStation classic for a reason; It's just not a fantastic game in my humble opinion. I give it a 6/10, 65/100 if I'm being generous/granular.

Absolutely loved taking a trip down memory lane. A nice bonus that the original soundtrack is also still available.
I played Tomba 2 as a kid and never had a chance to beat it all the way through. I also never had a chance to play the first one so I was so excited and it's been so much fun. No real bug issues on my end.
Play the original instead, though
Genial
Nostalgic and EXACTLY as fun as i remember it. Some of the button prompts do not match up, but it's not deterring in any way.
The only job they had turned out rotten! Which was the remastering of the song.
fajne, rozowy ludzik skacze a w grze są małpy
