Tokyo Xtreme Racer

I want this to be a neutral review, the game could be quite repetitive, but thats the whole grind of the game, and its fun, so thats good, The customization is nice too, but the only thing that i dislike is, the sound effects of this game, the engine sounds are unsatisfying, and unfortunately, the best sounding car in the world, the Lexus LFA sounds quite bad, and that could be a let down for some people, but if youre blasting loud music in the background and you cant hear any of the engine sounds anyway, it wouldnt be a problem. It is also quite easy to remove the difficulty curve entirely too by struggling and grinding at the start and saving up to buy an OP car, then the game just becomes too easy. TLDR: Great fun game with disappointing sound effects

I love everything about Tokyo Xtreme Racer. The location, cars, opponents, tuning, custom liveries and bodywork; it's all enjoyable. This game pairs really well with eurobeat type music, or even Jpop.

Fun street racing game with a cool night vibe. The headlight battle system is unique and makes races feel different. It can get repetitive, but it’s still enjoyable if you like racing games.

I know I'm in the extreme minority here so take that for what it's worth, butI just don't get the appeal of this at nearly $70CDN. It doesn't look bad, but it also has 7th gen looks, with modern AAA level technical demands (my PC is very good and runs Battlefield 6 and Hunt: Showdown better than this). The gameplay is straight from the 6th gen, grinding the same lifeless feeling track doing short basically drag races over and over to earn small incremental upgrades to get to the next text-only, cheeseball cutscene. I get why a lot of people like this, I really do and if you're one of those people, I hope you keep having a greate time. But even as a retro enthusiast who can appreciate older, simpler racing games, this just doesn't click with me at this price. I'll probably try it again when it has a big sale.

imma grind my way to my IRL car lol, jokes aside the game is really good, got a very pure racing game feeling, also got some interesting storytelling part to it, looking forward to keep on playing in the future

게임 설명보고 예전 시티레이서 정도의 기대만 해서 그런지... 한글패치가 나왔다는 이야기 듣고 플레이한 경험에서는 상당히 만족 중입니다... 비록 처음 니트로를 달고 나서 니트로 사용법이라던가 튜토리얼 같은 것도 뜨지 않아서 무슨 키를 눌러야 될지 몰라서 옵션 들어가서 찾아보는등... 부실한 부분이 확실히 있긴 합니다만... 플레이 하는 도중에는 확실히 즐겁게 즐긴거 같아요...
