[h1]A Curious, Flawed Trip Through the Titanic 🚢🕰️[/h1] The biggest draw of [b]Titanic Escape Simulator[/b] is not polished mechanics, but the odd mix of history, investigation, and survival. Before the disaster begins, searching cabins and following small clues gives the ship a quiet, museum-like mood. 🕵️‍♂️ Walking the decks is where the game can feel strangely relaxing, even with its rough edges. The ship design has enough atmosphere to make you imagine the final voyage, and a few scenic rooms are perfect for screenshots. 📸🌊 There are bugs, odd pacing, and AI voices that will not please everyone. I am fine with the voices, though, and I hope future updates smooth out the strangest parts, because the historical setting and puzzle-survival idea deserve a better ride. Recommended only for curious Titanic fans who can accept a rough release. Approach it with low expectations, and it may still give you a memorable historical stroll. 🚢

I strongly suspect this entire game is AI generated, not just the music and voice acting that the description claims. And there's a reason the trailer mostly features you walking through the Titanic without much gameplay - because there isn't much. The game description is VERY misleading. There's no puzzles, there's no strategy, there's no thinking required. It's very buggy - I had to lower all my settings to stop the lagging despite having a good gaming laptop that meets all requirements. Even the game mechanics feels like AI went "hey these features are in a lot of good games" without understanding how they work. There is map menu with no actual map. There is a notebook with a notes and facts section that is very underused. There's an inventory that is ignored until the last 10 minutes of the game. The flashlight you're given at the start is given a limitation on its use (of something like 999,999,999 seconds) even though you really don't need the flashlight in game at all. Even the storyline doesn't make sense for a Titanic story. Why are we the going Egyptian curse route? But the biggest red flag for me is that there are no credits listed in this game whatsoever. I had a quick google of the publisher when I finished the game and even their website is mostly broken (all tabs and links takes you to a 404 not found page) and looks not real. Just to end on a semi-positive note, I did appreciate the little facts and biographies of some of the real people on the Titanic popping up as you (briefly) meet their characters. But if it's the Titanic that interests you, you're better off watching a documentary or reading a book. This is not worth it. Don't waste your money or time. Note to self: start researching more about the games before you buy them based on the description alone.

I was looking for a modern Titanic game comparable to to Titanic: Adventure Out of Time by Cyberflix in 1996 when I came across this. Although Adventure Out of Time is still available for purchase on Steam, despite all the so-called fixes to get the old game working on modern systems, I experienced constant game crashes. The game is simply outdated and will never be remade since Cyberflix is no longer in business. Which is why I decided to try this game. The story for Titanic Escape Simulator, while very linear and not as in-depth as the story in Adventure Out of Time, is somewhat interesting and covers a lot of Titanic history and the people on board. The main complaints I would have about the story is that it is very linear and the objectives guide the player step by step. There's really no guessing what needs to be done next and there are no side quests/subplots in the story. What I enjoy most about Titanic Escape Simulator is that the Titanic itself is much larger and more detailed than in Adventure Out of Time with more areas accessible than in that older game. I'd play this game for free roam mode alone even without the main game's story. On a technical note, I did experience some bugs and glitches. While playing the story, I experienced crashes to desktop twice. When roaming the ship either in story or free roam mode, there are areas where the player's avatar can fall through the floor to the deck below or even through the bottom of the Titanic into the endless depths of the ocean below. Despite these issues, Titanic Escape Simulator is an enjoyable game to play and even replay.
