I am glad I waited for the 75% off sale. It's entertaining for a short while, but.. PROS: - The map and locations layout wasn't too bad - The photo fly by catch system was kinda fun for capturing moments but I would have made it more of a system of making post cards to earn points for at stops - The train car system having a per car experience and purchase for upgrades was a nice addition to the layering of leveling - The passengers giving feedback was helpful for knowing where to focus but could be way more in depth/have more dialogue in their "reviews" as some of them were the exact same thing over and over CONS: - UI is scattered/messy. The contract management is a bit vague/hard to find. Icons are re-used (like the map in the journal and at the bottom of the screen) - Getting new train cars is a random unlock system rather than a thoughtful unlock/save up for what I want to build toward type system - Tutorial was way too long and kept interrupting, getting in the way of other moments I was trying to appreciate - Graphics were really lackluster and scenery was not engaging. It didn't feel like a real place. - The passengers were really boring. There is a lot of room to make them feel more real through conversations, dialogues, interactions, etc All-In-All: It's a decent enough pass-time if you catch it on a really good sale like I did, but there are too many other options that very much surpass this experience when it comes to side scrolling train management toys. Sadly I don't think it holds well in present day with it's interface, detail/world building, and graphic styling. It seemed like it was trying to make a "This is a comfy fun pixel game!" vibe, but ultimately just shoved landmarks and pop-culture references in my face rather than leaning on it's own opportunities for creativity, like "OMG LOOK AT THIS THING YOU PROBABLY KNOW ABOUT" Rather than "Let me show you something cool in an engaging way!" I wound up turning off all the "hire on" train staff because navigating the UI was more of a hassle than managing the train in such a way that those were a benefit. I adore pixel art styles, but this game doesn't have the features to prop up the lack of visuals and world building details. If I got it at full price, I would have processed it for a refund. Even if I consider it a "kids game", my opinions remain the same. I will keep an eye on it for updates to see if it catches up to other options, but for now I likely won't put in much more than the 30-40 minutes I was able to get in while playing it first time.

I like the visuals, map(s), and music. The gameplay itself can get a little tedious, but since the game is so pretty, I just deal with it.

За 20 часов могу оставить отзыв на данную игру, в ней отметил множество минусов и немного плюсов, начну перечислять в данной игре однообразные миссии, бесполезные коллеги, задания выше, чем развитие поезда, например в задании по достижению скорости 420 км в час, когда у тебя и 300 нет, в меню миссий автоотправление поезда не работает, при помощи коллегам например необходимо проехать 5000км и получишь 1\20 например выполненных заданий, хуже всего это по устранению препятствий 40 шт решил докачать по заданиям со скоростью в первую очередь и зацепил некоторые квесты на увеличение золота, я предполагал даст за квесты хоть золото которое очень необходимо, тебе дают за такие квесты 1 репутацию только и в итоге ты получаешь 1% к скорости, как-то не равноценно получается, далее идет повышение в арифмитической прогрессии, прокачка поезда отдельная история, нужно учитывать все пункты к количеству человек например комфорт, еда, санузел. Туалеты в этой игре не существуют практически, приходится добавлять 8 человек плюс 4 санузела, оставляю негативный отзыв из-за вечных сейвов в облако, которое, как оказывается не работают, игра не сохранилась, а также гача с выпадение поездов, ты отдаешь 300к за редкий вагон который дает 8 вместимости, а прокачка его это 3500 хр до второго уровня, это бред, игру не советую.

Amazing game tho the gold counter is a bit buggy a sometimes it randomly decreases if its unable to preoperly compute the goldbonus ability but its just ghosted so it return upong the next station if you go negative gold you need to reload your game or your counter will be perma stuck on -5 also the gold hud is layered above passengers and cargo and dus can go overthem, also some tooltips do overlap like the text I mainly have that issue in region distance like usa west where the distance writes over the region name in the informatiuon interface

Fun game, I played it years ago on mobile. I like the pc version because of the absence of jems and adds. The wait between stations can be long at the beginning but upgrading the speed reduces the wait.
