Tiles is super fun. It's hard to write a full length review on, because it's such a basic premise, but the concept of it is gameplay aside, it's a great game. I am terrible at it, and, I assume most people WILL be terrible at it. If you don't like frustrating puzzle games, this might not be the game for you, but, if you're okay with a little frustration now and again, Tiles might be right up your alley. Move on the blocks, don't fall, get all the blues to fall, and you win. It's that simple... or that complicated. I have to play dark souls between levels to shake the difficulty off. It's that hard.

Tiles, for me, is a perfect example of a love/hate relationship. When I first started playing this title, it infuriated me and I was so close to abandoning ship all together. However, with perseverance and a lot of finger cramp, I completed the entire game with most of the achievements (apart from the impossible achievement which is perfectly named). I think if any player gives this game enough of their time, they will learn to love it and revel in its difficulty. There are issues however like the fact that there is only one music track on a loop for the entire game, or the issue that there is no leaderboard for levels on the custom maps. That being said, the level editor is wonderfully designed with only a few additions which I would like to add; and add to the game all together: • Leaderboards for custom made maps and replays of the fastest times • More music tracks • The addition of a trigger block that opens up another block • More official levels with new block mechanics • Different types of local multiplayer like a full timed version where you go from the start to the end of the game racing other players. Another type could be a whole different set of levels that can only be completed in co-op mode. These would have to incorporate the trigger block proposed above.
Never played such games, but i love Tiles! :D
Very fun puzzle game. Took me a few minutes to get use to the controls. Can be a very trial and error for some puzzles. Overall it is a fun game.
Though Tiles might not be the type of game you find yourself going back to frequently, its potential for replay for speed-runners and level creators is well worth the low price. At just $3.99, Tiles is an enjoyable experience to go through at least once, and maybe more if you’re on the hunt to improve your playtime.
es estresante el juego
Its like those puzzle games that have really simple mechanics, but are really hard. This one is more skill based than puzzles though. Overall, its pretty good.
