Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Aug 15 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought on sale, finished campaign in about 9 hours Game has a set building system, where you build is predetermined, when is determined by the level of your keep The first campaign missions let you play around, but eventually you need to start considering what features, weapons, and curses you have in play for that run The difficulty ramps up in the last few missions, enjoyably Outside of the campaign is an endless survival mode, which I haven't played yet Good price, good game, more strategic than sim builder, but that actually benefits the gameplay here

Really good, chill game. Recommended. 7/10. This game is simple to understand, offers plenty of difficulty options, and finds a rare nice mix of being tricky without being punishing. Maybe I'm just horrible at 'tower defense' but most of them are overwhelmingly precise and demanding seemingly catering to a hardcore niche. Thronefall is approachable and satisfying. I got this bundled with Nordhold which I enjoy even more...but seriously...buy the steam bundle with both if that's still being sold. Well worth it.
Excellent little Tower Defense game with action elements. Great look, superb music, nice progression (roguelite-ish). Lots of challenges etc to do as well.
Excellent take on traditional TD games. The Mutators and boons really open up the possible play styles available.
Thronefall is one of those games that proves a strategy game doesn't need a hundred menus and spreadsheets to have depth. The idea is incredibly simple: build your little kingdom during the day, spend whatever gold you have on houses, walls, towers and troops, then watch everything you've prepared get tested when night comes and an army starts pouring toward your castle. What really got me is how satisfying that loop becomes. Every coin matters. You tell yourself you'll invest in the economy this time, then night comes and you're riding around desperately trying to save a tower because apparently buying another house instead of soldiers wasn't the brilliant investment strategy you thought it was. And when a defense actually works exactly as planned, watching your archers and walls tear through an attack while you ride between the fighting feels ridiculously satisfying. There's something almost relaxing about Thronefall despite half the game being about preventing your kingdom from being destroyed. The minimalist graphics, quiet daytime building and simple controls give it this calm atmosphere, and then nighttime turns your peaceful little kingdom into complete chaos. It isn't the biggest or deepest strategy game out there, and honestly it doesn't need to be. Thronefall takes the best parts of kingdom building, tower defense and RTS games, cuts away most of the annoying micromanagement, and leaves behind something that's incredibly easy to start and surprisingly difficult to put down. Recommended.
