Game is horrible for new players wanting to get into this MMO. I recently began playing and quickly realized that the game revolves around retaining the veterans of the game (while milking them) rather than making the overall experience good. When i reached level 20 i was supposed to be able to queue for dungeons (but that system is locked away as the developers only focuses on people at max level) furthermore, you can't even get any items/gear from dungeons untill lvl 55 dungeons because the 10 or 12 dungeons before the lvl 55 dungeons are considered "introduction dungeons" from what i gathered on reddit. You're basically forced to play and level on your own and dont get to play matchmaking with others. I finally unlocked the auctionhouse (which was the reason i continiued the game) in hopes i could start doing some trades, just to realize that once unlocked at lvl 40, all there is, is weapons and gear and nothing can be bought for the regular currency. The auctionhouse is exclusively locked to premium currency and while people say "later you'll be able to farm stuff and break it down and sell good stats to get premium currency" it is obviously just a wall set up by the developers to force you to buy premium currency. I decided i wanted to see if there was anything from my bank that i could atleast put on the market to gain some lucent (premium currency) just to realize, you can't post anything on the auctionhouse untill you reach level 50. The entire way from level 1 to level 54 i've seen maybe 12 people (in the citys). Game feels like a feverdream where its just you in environment with incredibly BAD written storyline that after while, you're better off just spamming "F" when the npc conversations is going, because half of the stuff they say during the quests is just nonsense and poorly written story. Furthermore you'll find places everywhere throughout the game where the translated language just don't make sense. One example is that i was doing a quest, had to go to the barracks to read in a book, turns out the "barracks" i had to go to, was a little tent. Feels like a poorly written storyline, with immenses focus on trying to get money from whales (especially considering how they keep changing "meta builds" at end game, so that a class becomes overpowered, and everyone have to go to the auctionhouse to spend lucent they buy with money, to get on par). I would see people making parties to a few different objectives (max level world boss stuff) and it would frequently be the same 6 or so names you'd see in the chat. Game feels dead, like a company it just trying to siphon money out of the remaining playerbase. Level 1-60 is basically a solo adventure where a enemy type, all have the exact annimation. Places you'll run past a group of enemiess, and if they're the same enemy, they'll do the exact same thing making it feel like a copy/paste thing. It really doesn't feel like a good game and i am happy that i stopped at level 54. Maybe this game is good for other players but to me it is not, and considering Amazon pulled out too, i dont see it survive for too long, unless the whales keeps giving up their money :) If you read this text-wall, you're bonkers and probably have too high intellect to be interested in playing this game.
Played for a long time since launch, took a break, came back, played a little more, both high end PvP and PvE, won the server first siege with our bare hands, had an amazing journey with many friends and enemies. After all is said and done, 100% of the fun had within the game was purely community based and the only thing this game contributed to were the downsides of that journey. Gear matters too much and costs too much, severely P2W, so much so it forces you to pay to progress or just die in 1 button click. 0.0002% drop rates, never a thing that feels good. Scheduled events that no one actually wants to do but it's a chore you have to suffer to progress. It's not a "Fun" game once you start seeing it for what it really is, it's just a consistent chore to fill your time and empty your wallet. The people are fun, the game is not.
DEAD GAME - the fact the just dropped 150$ pack day after dropping news that amazon is leaving IS THE MOST FUNNY ♥♥♥♥ IVE EVER SEEN. amazon over here is like * aye yo lets milk these mfs right before NC takes back over* one last FOOK YOU to player base I LOVE IT
Game has become aggressive with the P2W. Every piece of content has a P2W aspect to it. I understand it is a free to play game but in some cases you cannot progress with the game without swiping your card to be relevant. Unless you are a whale, I would avoid this game, very little content to enjoy.
Annoyingly, you play and grind enough to get to a point in the game where you feel 'yea, I've reached the upper bracket and I now actually feel good in PvP', then an update hits and BAM - all your gear is useless.
If you're new and want to play this game be aware that you won't be able to do most of the content other than PVE. Even spending real money as a new player to get yourself some gear is not enough. You don't have the means to ride along old players and really need to consider your runes, artifacts, weapon masteries, unlock stones, traits unlock stones, heroic gear/materials, and gear watermarks to get you in an optimal position. The game is stingy about everything and pretty much everything you need to progress is gatekeep.
the ai voice was gay and the opening sucked
P2w korean garbage only drug addicts and delusional people play it
