Three Kingdoms 2025 阿达三国志2025 is a surprisingly detailed strategy game that took me a little while to fully understand. It uses the Three Kingdoms setting but focuses heavily on turn based tactical battles and careful planning rather than simply telling a historical story. I enjoyed the feeling of having to think several moves ahead because even a small positioning mistake can completely change how a battle develops. The battlefield is based around unit positioning, attack ranges and character abilities. Different troop types have different strengths, so I have to think carefully about where I put each unit and which enemy I should target first. I liked that the battles reward careful planning instead of just throwing my strongest character toward the nearest enemy. The generals are the heart of the progression system. I can recruit famous figures, customize their skills and equip them with different gear, which gives me plenty of room to build a team around the way I like to play. I enjoyed experimenting with combinations because the right abilities can make a much bigger difference than simply having stronger characters. The strategy outside combat is another feature I appreciated. I can develop cities, improve resource production, research military technology and assign officials to help my administration. This gives the campaign more depth because winning battles is only part of the problem. I also need to think about how my territory supports the army I am building. There are several different activities beyond the main campaign, including competitive battles, historical scenarios and character focused stages. I liked having these alternatives because they keep the Three Kingdoms setting from feeling like nothing more than a sequence of identical battles. The alternate historical scenarios are especially interesting because they let me imagine how famous events could have gone differently. My biggest issue is that the amount of systems can feel overwhelming. There is a lot of information to process, and the game does not always make every mechanic immediately understandable. The free to play structure also means that progression can sometimes feel closely tied to resource management rather than pure tactical skill, which makes the experience less clean than I would prefer. Overall, Three Kingdoms 2025 阿达三国志2025 is a solid turn based strategy game with a surprisingly deep tactical foundation. I enjoyed the positioning, general customization and the extra layer of city management, while the alternate historical scenarios give the setting some personality. It can be complicated and the free to play structure is noticeable, but there is a lot here for me to enjoy as someone who likes strategic battles. Rating: 6.6/10
