This Is Not A Jumping Game

The goal sounds simple enough, get husky to his bone. But as the game goes on, you'll find it's not as simple as it sounds. Chinese developer Heero follows a "Cat Mario" (or officially named [i]Syobon Action[/i]) approach and uses various tricks up his sleeve to make obtaining that bone a difficult task. It starts by being a jumping game, but soon evolves into a difficult puzzle game fused with a jumping game....err....a platformer. The music is kinda' catchy, which is a good thing, but there seems to only be about 3 songs in its repertoire. It does get a bit old after a bit, leading to a good alternative being muting the music eventually and queuing up my own music (like from a YouTube playlist). The puzzles get increasingly difficult. Be prepared for a tough challenge in disguise from this title if you choose to accept the challenge that is [i]This Is Not A Jumping Game[/i]. Sometimes you can move, other times you have to use your wit and your mouse to seize victory. Not working? Maybe a controller will help you out. All-in-all, this game is tough! So...worth your time? Only if challenge is your middle name or you want to record a reaction video for YouTube. If you're a hardcore gamer that thrives on challenge, then $4 is the perfect price for you. If you're more on the casual side, wait for a sale where this game may be between $1-$2...my personal recommendation. This is no game...it's a torture device! ...But it is worthy of a glance.
