Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow demonstrates how effectively a classic stealth franchise can be adapted for virtual reality without losing its identity. Developed by Maze Theory and published by Vertigo Games, the title transports players back to the dark and unforgiving City, a place where corruption flourishes beneath towering structures and every shadow can serve as either refuge or danger. Instead of revisiting established heroes directly, the game introduces Magpie, a resourceful young thief whose life becomes entangled with a legendary artifact and the lingering presence of Garrett, the iconic Master Thief. The premise immediately establishes a bridge between the series' history and its future, creating an adventure that feels respectful of its roots while carving out its own path. Virtual reality proves to be a natural fit for the franchise's stealth-driven design philosophy. Players physically crouch behind cover, peek around corners, and reach into drawers and cabinets in search of valuables. Lockpicking becomes a hands-on activity rather than a simple minigame, while extinguishing lights and hiding in darkness reinforces the sensation of truly inhabiting a thief's role. The inclusion of classic tools such as rope arrows, water arrows, and throwable distractions gives players multiple ways to approach encounters. Every mission encourages careful observation and patience, rewarding those who study guard patrols and experiment with alternate routes instead of rushing toward objectives. The City itself remains one of the game's greatest accomplishments. Its architecture conveys a blend of industrial grime and medieval influence that has long defined the Thief universe. From wealthy estates to hidden passageways and forgotten ruins, each environment feels deliberately crafted to support exploration. VR adds another layer of immersion by emphasizing scale and environmental detail; towering halls feel imposing, while narrow alleys and cramped hiding spots enhance the tension of avoiding detection. The world is filled with notes, collectibles, and environmental clues that deepen the lore without interrupting the pacing, making exploration feel consistently worthwhile. Storytelling takes a more character-focused approach through Magpie's personal journey. As she uncovers secrets tied to Baron Ulysses Northcrest and the city's uncertain future, Garrett's spirit acts as both mentor and reminder of the franchise's legacy. While the narrative does not reach the complexity of the earliest entries in the series, it effectively captures the themes of ambition, oppression, and survival. The relationship between Magpie and Garrett provides some of the game's strongest moments, giving players a sense that they are participating in a passing of the torch rather than a simple reboot. Fans of the original games will appreciate the callbacks, while newcomers can enjoy the story without feeling excluded. Gameplay remains consistently engaging throughout its campaign thanks to its emphasis on freedom and replayability. Missions are designed with multiple solutions in mind, allowing players to choose between rooftops, hidden tunnels, or heavily guarded front entrances. Optional objectives and hidden treasures further encourage revisiting completed levels. There are occasional shortcomings, particularly in enemy AI and some VR interactions that can feel slightly inconsistent during high-pressure moments. Combat also lacks the depth found in dedicated action titles, though this feels intentional given the game's focus on remaining unseen. Fortunately, these issues are relatively minor when compared to the strengths of its stealth systems and immersive presentation. What ultimately makes Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow memorable is its commitment to preserving the spirit of the series. It understands that the thrill of being a thief comes not from defeating enemies, but from outsmarting them. Successfully infiltrating a guarded manor, stealing a priceless artifact, and slipping away unnoticed remains immensely satisfying. Maze Theory has delivered a VR experience that embraces modern technology while honoring one of gaming's most influential stealth franchises. Though it may not replace a traditional sequel in the eyes of every longtime fan, it stands as an impressive evolution of the formula and one of the more compelling stealth experiences currently available in virtual reality. For a mobile VR game ported to PC, I've loved it - as soon as they added the brightness / gamma controls. Now, for me at least it runs great. I have so far really enjoyed trying to find all the loot - much less boring in VR than flat! Definitely a good buy
Im sorry.. but its like the game was made by AI.. it doesnt shine in anything.. The story is generic without any intresting or deep character. Mechanics are dull - the guards are blind and their lines are written by 5 year old.. Combat is pacifist.. You have the really want to hurt anyone. Optimisation is poor Graphics are OKish All of this combined was just not worth my time. I really hope that someone will fix this or make better next chapter as the potential is there.
Buggy as hell, basic story, combat is non-existent, a 2/10 at best
Зaeбaтo, но мало
Played on Meta Quest 3 via Link cable. A 6/10 from me. I was left wanting and a tad let down after completing the game, but I'm reminded that it's only $20 at regular price; and I do want to avoid discouraging the sale & development of VR titles (unless they're absolutely poopy games)... so, here's a Thumbs Up review despite the shortcomings. As far as A/AA VR games go, this is alright - it's just that my final impression of the game, from the last quarter levels and the finale, left me a little disappointed. Might've had lower expectations if it weren't based on 'Thief' (although I'm now noticing it's following the "wrong" Thief game, not the beloved classics). Rather peevey bugs still present in the current version at this time: Game not saving customised graphics settings; not recording my complete objectives properly. Some praises to balance things out: 1. Moving and interacting with the levels and player equipment is quite alright. No complaints. 2. Stealth-thieving gameplay brings a sense of nostalgia from a beloved series. Does a fair job translating the gameplay loop into VR. 3. Rather dry VA performance for the main character (too reminiscent of Philomena Cunk), but the NPCs' voices are passable. 4. Rather short, but in a "good" way that I wanted more of it to play by the time it was over (although wishing a wider variety of levels and enemies could be explored). But hey, it's a cheaper game. 5. No performance complaints. Not the prettiest game, of course, but at least it doesn't chug and stutter despite its look.
Easily a must have for stealth fans. The way vr is implemented is excellent. sneaking around, hiding in shadows, and stealing loot is incredibly fun. it is very light on the immersive sim elements however but its still an excellent addition to any vr library
Very good VR game. Charming, and scratches the Thief itch. Recommend.
I stopped after the 2 nd mission. Graphics are nice. However, everything else is repetitave and not fun. Combat is dumb, AI is dumb. It was just not fun after some point wandering around collecting stuff, killing the same way, unlocking the same way. Also there are quite some bugs and it is quite hard sometimes to figure out what to do. I do not recommend it. Only if they put some time to fine tune what is already there ....
every time i boot the game i want to close it. it is such a bad game, feels cheap and shallow.
