Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So Thief Sim can be fun, but it's a real mess. It has more bugs than a compost heap. Off the top of my head: NPC pathfinding is unpredictable and broken in many ways, loot items can randomly glitch out of bounds and disappear, there are some spots where you can get stuck while sneaking and must walk normally to get past them (risking detection), you can be tasered from the complete opposite side of the property, and tenants will automatically alert on you when you're standing near their vehicle (even when you're literally invisible). Some of the bugs ended up being helpful; I've seen police arrive at the wrong house, NPCs getting stuck, and guards clipping into the ground and falling out of the map, never to be seen again. There are other things, like the car dismantling system and the frequency of pedestrians, that aren't bugged but are incredibly annoying. Consider that your disclaimer if you want to get into the game, I guess. (I also found that running the game was an unexpected workout for my PC, even on lower graphics settings, because of how the neighborhoods are free-roam.) Why is this still a positive review? I'll be honest, it's hovering on the fence, but if you can catch one of the regular sales where the game's like $2 I would consider that worthwhile. It can be really satisfying to finally figure out a strategy for a house, even if I ended up getting tilted just as often. I also had a lot of fun essentially playing House Flipper at the base with all the stuff I collected. And I really liked the hacking minigame/puzzle, which is just as well because you'll see that one a lot. There's a good game underneath all the bugs; I just wish this one had gotten a little more polishing and care instead of the devs moving on to Thief Sims 2-3.
muy bien

Day 1 of reviewing every games I've gotten every achievements on : This game is pure aids, I bought this game back in December of 2025, played for 13 hours and then quit, a corruption of my save file was the final straw. Because I'm too lazy to write, here's a list of everything wrong with the game organized by categories : Category 1 : UI & Text - Genuinely what the hell is this translation ??? I don't know about the other languages but the french translation is horrendous, I don't even think Google Translate can mess up this poorly. Here are a few example : - EN : Hood (car) / FR : Quartier (correct word is "Capot") - EN : Quit Game / FR : Sors Du Jeu (correct translation is "Quitter Le Jeu") There are many more but they would take too long to explain - Even better, some pieces of text aren't even translated Category 2 : Movements - Even tho your character is shown as skinny in the cutscenes, he's apparently obese with how low he jumps. Even my grandma jumps higher than he does. - To further proves he's obese, he's unable to walk up the tiniest slope which makes going up hill on foot a complete nightmare. - Sprinting feels like I'm playing with Usain Bolt but walking sideways feels like i'm carrying a fridge Category 3 : Vehicles - The default car is the definition of buying Doritos in 2026, the packaging looks huge but there's nothing inside, a thief with a tissue box of a car is laughable. - To fix that, the devs added a second vehicle to buy, a big and spacious truck that can hold many many things, too bad it's not mentionned anywhere that you can buy that it. It only spawns after a certain point in the story, the "for sale" sign is tiny and it can be purchased at the pawn shop, which is the last place you would expect a car to be purchased at. Category 4 : Tools - The crowbar is given for free (thankfully) at the beginning od the game, you use it to break inside 109 & 110 and after that it's completely useless unless you complete tasks on Hell Neighbor (definitely not a big issue but still worth pointing out) - Using the DIY Lockpicking kit is tedious and annoying, it breaks very easily which forces you to buy multiple kits and can waste precious seconds - The lockpicks (used on LVL 2 locks) is even worse than the DIY kit, It's incredibly tedious and slow to use and is basically luck based. I once spent 1 in game hour opening a simple gate with a LVL 2 lock. - The hacking laptop is stupid. There are countless panels that could be hacked with it that you simply can't hack with it for no reason. - What's the point of the disguise ? I bought once, tried it out like the game told me and I still got busted. - The hacking PDA is completely luck based wether you get an instant hack or not which becomes really stressful when you're out in the open - The glass cutter is also very random. Holding LMB and doing a circular motion with my mouse the same way everytime makes cutting glass take 5 seconds or 60 seconds Category 5 : Skills - Why do I need Lockpicking 4 to cut glass ? - Why do I need Agility 2 to climb vines ? Throwing bricks is completely pointless anyway - What does Appraisal even do ? Only Appraisal LVL 2 actually does something - Why do you need to be LVL 23 to have a proper backpack that can carry more than 2 objects ? Category 6 : Achievements The fact that there aren't any achievements for completing every houses in Greenview, Richie R, Industrial and Sunvalley or for completing every contracts outside of the DLC specials or for finishing every Black Bay lists is a real shame, It would've been much better than the seasonal achievements. Speaking of seasonal achievements, they suck. Changing the PC's internal clock to trick the game into thinking It's Christmas or Halloween is really but it makes the game really laggy after a while and I almost lost my save file multiple times. Category 7 : Taking cars appart Simply the worst aspect of the game, the camera is never pointing the right way so you always have to adjust it which can quickly be nauseating to do, It's unfathomably slow and boring to do just because you have to click on each single screw individually. To conclude, the game has some positive aspects to it : - Loading times are very short - You don't have to keep an eye on the tenant's glowing outline to see if you're making too much noise - For a simple simulator game, some houses are actually hard to rob - Car pieces don't take space in your backpack Finally, I really hope all of these issues get fixed Thief Simulator 3, as i really enojyed Thief Simulator 2 I really look foward to the 3rd game. Final rating : 4/10
