Honestly, at a first glance I would never thought I'll enjoy a game like this. I'm not a huge zombie person or into roguelite games, but jeez this game was really a hidden gem. The gameplay loop is insanely fun, love the art style, and all the mechanics felt nice. I would honestly have spent a lot more on this game if it costed more just for the gameplay loop alone. 10/10 - Definitely an unexpected, lovely short game.
Very fun little game, there's nothing more fulfilling to the male gamer fantasy than playing as a single mother during a zombie apocalypse

Good game -- it's frantic, but it needs to be hard or you'd finish it too fast. I finished it including NG+ in less than 80 minutes in the default Roguelite mode where you keep your levelups between runs, but there are modifiers to increase the difficulty and items that I never came across so it should be replayable. (If disabling roguelite mode really starts you at level 0 and is otherwise identical to the default game, it seems like the difficulty would be extreme, in fact?) Just be aware that it's not the type of game where you're going to be sitting around for a few seconds thinking about what to do next. You need to be moving to your next objective constantly. Pause the game with Space if you want to consider your next move. Some additional random elements that force you to adapt your play style would increase replayability, but keep in mind the game is quite cheap. Edit: Finished on the highest difficulty (though without disabling Roguelite mode as the way that works seems a bit unusual). Replayability could be higher, and there's a small annoyance that after unlocking New Game+ you can't go back to the old map to try modifiers without resetting your level, but I'm happy with what I got for the price. It'd be good to see a sequel to this game with additional content.
For $3 this is a steal. Way too easy and way too short. But man it's just so good.
A lovely bitesized roguelite with an emphasis in strict time management. I strongly recommend even at full price. Anyone who enjoys flash era towerdefense game will especially appreciate the style.

The haunting visuals and eerie sound effects keep you on edge as you navigate its world.

• Unique Premise: The game’s concept of facing off against relentless enemies with minimal resources adds a layer of dread and urgency, making every encounter feel impactful.

• Simple but Effective Gameplay: The straightforward mechanics make the game easy to pick up while still providing moments of intensity. The balance between survival and offense keeps things interesting. Its focused design ensures that it doesn’t overstay its welcome.

• Affordable Price: For its content, *They Don’t Sleep* is reasonably priced, making it a worthwhile pick for fans of indie horror games on a budget. I don't know how I didn't find this game until now! For a zombie game enthusiast, this is a little diamond of a game. Even though I've done (almost) all achievements, I find myself going back and playing more. It does exactly what it came in to do, and doesn't overstay it's welcome by being too long. Consider me addicted. Edit to add: I just went and looked, and this is the only game this dev/studio has done! I'm proud to have gotten here before the inevitable popularity with (hopefully) more games to come :)
A lot of fun! I'm achievement hunting cause I want an excuse to keep playing
