About
A small adventure with a big story. Theropods takes around 2-3 hours to finish. Perfect for an afternoon or a relaxed weekend.
Wordless point-and-click adventure — no dialogue, no subtitles, just animation, sound, and visual storytelling.
An unlikely friendship in a hostile world — a wordless story of bravery, trust, and survival.
Brains over brawn — outsmart dinosaurs, distract barbarians, and puzzle your way out of deadly situations.
A vivid prehistoric world — trek through jungles, valleys, canyons, caves, and wild dinosaur territory.
Gorgeous hand-drawn pixel art brought to life with cinematic frame-by-frame animation.
An immersive soundtrack blending tribal rhythms with eerie sci-fi synthesizers.
A glowing stone crashes from the sky into a young hunter’s village. Its arrival draws a bloodthirsty tribe, who attack the settlement and enslave her people.
Barely escaping into the jungle, she discovers the stone’s true origin: a stranded spaceman whose damaged pod depends on it.
Together, this unlikely pair must cross dinosaur-infested lands to free her tribe and find a way to send him home.
Theropods is a classic point-and-click adventure built around visual logic. Watch how characters move, how creatures behave, and how each scene changes as you poke, prod, and experiment.
Instead of fighting your way through danger, you solve your way through it — distracting predators, avoiding enemies, triggering reactions, and finding clever ways past situations too dangerous to face head-on.
Theropods replaces dialogue trees, long conversations, and text walls with gestures, expressions, sound, and visual storytelling. The story unfolds through action: what characters do, what they notice, and what changes around them.
With no subtitles or text-heavy exposition to translate, the adventure is built to be understood by players anywhere in the world.

Reviews
Unfinished. Great story, superb art. The puzzles are fairly simple and get shorter and easier towards the end, which makes the conclusion less satisfying. The tension did not properly build up in the narrative for the end to feel like an accomplishment. Otherwise, a gem at full price.
Nice little adventure. I enjoyed the cutscenes.
I loved it. Highly recommend it if you like point and click adventures that don't rely on incredible obscure and weird use of objects, everything kind of make sense so you don't get stuck to long in any section

Theropods is a fantastic little point-and-click adventure that proves you don't need dialogue to tell a great story. The gorgeous pixel art, clever puzzles and prehistoric setting give it loads of charm, and I never once felt lost despite the complete lack of spoken or written dialogue. It's funny, beautifully animated and an absolute joy to play from start to finish. If you're a fan of classic point-and-click adventures, Theropods is definitely worth checking out!
The game is fun but not enough dinos i guess, its a short game you can complete in 2 hrs. buy it on discount.
*Less than 2 hours in* It's pretty, it's fun. It's easy. The mechanics put you in a single screen and you solve the puzzle there (a couple of times you can move to a second and even a third! screen). So, gameplay wise, it's not very ambitious. It's no Deponia. But puzzles are well crafted, albeit simple. The magic of the game lies in the atmosphere, it feels truly like an adventure of your childhood! Again, very pretty pixel art. My biggest annoyance so far is the music sometimes: it's too adrenalinic, too exciting, like if you were in an action game: a softer one should have been picked in my opinion, one that allows you the serenity (and coziness) to Think. I'd easily recommend it though
