Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The You Testament: The 2D Coming, developed and published by MDickie, is a remarkably unconventional sandbox adventure that blends action, role-playing systems, survival mechanics, and reinterpretations of Biblical-era narratives into a single sprawling 2D experience. True to MDickie’s long-standing design philosophy, the game prioritizes freedom and emergent chaos over scripted structure or cinematic presentation. Rather than simply retelling religious stories in a linear fashion, it places the player directly inside an ancient world inspired by scripture and invites them to reshape it through their own decisions, allegiances, and actions. From the outset, the game emphasizes player agency. You create your own character and step into a world populated by hundreds of NPCs, many of whom are loosely inspired by figures and factions from Biblical times. Instead of pushing you down a narrow storyline, the game allows you to explore dozens of interconnected locations at your own pace. Conversations, alliances, betrayals, and conflicts unfold dynamically depending on how you choose to interact with others. You may follow a path of virtue and compassion, attempt to rise to power through force, or simply exist as a wanderer navigating the political and spiritual tensions of the era. The world feels less like a guided campaign and more like a reactive sandbox that adapts to your presence. Gameplay is a hybrid of side-scrolling exploration and real-time combat. Characters can engage in hand-to-hand fighting, wield weapons, and eventually access a wide array of supernatural powers. These abilities range from healing and protective miracles to more destructive or manipulative forces, and how you use them significantly shapes your journey. Combat itself is intentionally loose and sometimes chaotic, reflecting MDickie’s signature physics-driven style. While it lacks the precision of tightly tuned action games, it compensates with unpredictability and the sheer number of possible interactions. Encounters can escalate in unexpected ways, creating moments that feel spontaneous rather than scripted. Beyond combat, survival elements play a role in maintaining immersion. Your character must manage health and basic needs while navigating a world that is often hostile and unstable. Relationships matter, as NPCs remember your actions and respond accordingly. The social simulation aspect allows reputations to rise or fall depending on how you behave. This layering of systems gives the world a sense of persistence, even if it sometimes borders on chaotic unpredictability. The emergent storytelling that arises from these mechanics is one of the game’s strongest features; no two playthroughs unfold in quite the same way. Visually, The You Testament 2D retains the simplistic, sprite-based aesthetic that has become synonymous with MDickie’s projects. Character models and environments are functional rather than detailed, prioritizing clarity and system interaction over graphical fidelity. Animations can appear stiff, and presentation is undeniably rough compared to mainstream releases. However, this minimalist approach allows the game’s complex simulation systems to take center stage. The lack of visual spectacle reinforces the sense that the focus is on player-driven narrative rather than cinematic storytelling. One of the most compelling aspects of the experience is its replayability. The world is designed to evolve based on player influence, and restarting the game does not necessarily reset everything to a static default. Characters may look different, circumstances shift, and outcomes vary depending on past actions. This persistent quality encourages experimentation. Players can attempt radically different moral alignments, challenge key figures, or test how altering one event cascades into broader consequences. The sandbox nature means that “completion” is less about finishing a storyline and more about seeing how far you can push the systems. Thematically, the game walks a delicate line between reverence and reinterpretation. While inspired by Biblical narratives, it does not confine itself to strict doctrinal accuracy. Instead, it uses the setting as a framework for interactive exploration. Some players may appreciate this flexibility as a creative reinterpretation, while others might find the blending of sacred themes with sandbox chaos to be unusual. Regardless, the game’s ambition in tackling such material through an open-ended design is noteworthy. Ultimately, The You Testament 2D is not a polished, cinematic retelling of scripture, nor is it a conventional action RPG. It is a sandbox experiment that invites players to inhabit and reshape an ancient world through combat, conversation, and moral choice. Its rough presentation and unpredictable systems may alienate those seeking refinement, but for players who value freedom, emergent storytelling, and systemic depth, it offers a uniquely personal journey. Within its modest technical framework lies a surprisingly ambitious and replayable experience that stands apart from nearly anything else available on Steam. Rating: 8/10
Good game. Interesting indeed.
2/10 It's an MDickie game so, naturally, it's abysmal, but in a way that's way too surreal and funny to be mad at. Still, though, can't say I'd recommend it since this one costs money.

nice game but not so accurate
"Uphold the principles of our order and all that for which we stand." "Never share our secrets nor divulge in the true nature of our work." "Do so until death, whatever the cost." There is only one Father of Understanding. He is the Lord above; he is order incarnate. Therefore, may the Father of Understanding be this and naught else--the invisible hand that plucks harmony from the strings of the universe. Nothing more. Let all remaining pagan blasphemies wither into dust. Be he God-fearing or God-less, this new Order will encompass all and seek to improve man by aligning his needs with the ebb and flow of nature itself. This is my hope. This is my vow. A universal, divine order. Inspired by God for the betterment of man. Praise Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior!
