Unlike the other Telltale games, this game retells the characters of some well-known fairy tales in a completely different and quite refreshing way in a gritty, dark, and at times rather depressing crime thriller for adults, in which beloved characters like Belle, Ichabold Crane, and Snow White struggle for survival and their pride in a story revolving around murder, prostitution, and violence. Once you get used to it, this story definitely develops a certain pull. Wrapped in a twisty crime story that constantly throws curveballs, you definitely stay engaged, even if the Telltale team isn't quite as dramatically sophisticated as in their best work. Despite its relatively short runtime, there are a few lulls: the story is bogged down by some dispensable elements. Subplots like the one involving Belle and the Beast are unnecessarily inflated, and the initially spectacularly introduced but later forgotten secondary antagonist, Bluebeard, seems to have been left hanging in the narrative. Several questions remain unsatisfactorily unanswered until the very end. For example, the whereabouts of an initial suspect who suddenly vanishes from the story without much fanfare. Overall, the story feels somewhat unfocused at times, focusing on too many characters who are simply forgotten over time. The central characters, however, are significantly better and more coherently written, experiencing several pivotal moments and undergoing believable development. The action sequences are also exceptionally well-executed this time around, featuring several brutal spectacles. It's also a great pleasure that the game runs flawlessly from a technical standpoint, which is exceptional for Telltale adventures: no crashes, no visual glitches, and no sound bugs. This greatly enhances the enjoyment of the game and ensures a smooth and satisfying experience. Then, the story picks up pace as it builds momentum, building from its occasional slow moments to a mostly coherent and pleasantly atmospheric conclusion through clever dialogue and surprising twists. Only the final chapter feels surprisingly subdued, lacking the dramatic climax some might have anticipated.

Хорошая игра с отличным сюжетом, это игра гораздо проработаная чем Ходячие мертвецы и гораздо лучше с сюжетом, жаль что она не такая популярная как ХМ, советую хорошая игра и явно стоит вашего внимание.

JUEGAZO, uno de los mejores juegos de Telltale. No importa en que año lo juegues, la verdad que cumple con la historia, el tono en que te cuenta todo y el tipo de decisiones que debes tomar. BigBy es un fenómeno, intenta hacer las cosas bien aunque todo este en su contra. Agradezco también que hayan hecho los subtítulos en español la propia comunidad!

Love it. Great story and I had more luck with qte than detroit. Can't wait for Wolf Among Us 2 to come out.
