This was definitely worth a play, with an emotional storyline and interesting characters! The artwork and style felt like it was well cared for by the developers which is great, and the point-and-click action-based sequences were unique. The biggest downsides of this game is that you spend a lot of the game watching or walking, as the actual movement based scenes are quite linear, you must do A then B then C to progress, so your movements and actions feel arbitrary at times. I do however love the action sequences with reaction-based choices that result in big changes. Another huge downside is that none of your choices feel like they matter - particularly when it comes to a death. You can basically be assured that if there is a choice for a character to die OR you have to choose between two characters, that those characters WILL die eventually. Also, it felt like my non-physical choices didn't matter a whole lot either, for example me always backing up Kenny still feels like he gets unreasonably mad at you, or doesn't risk his life to help you ever. Another example is not taking food from the car at the beginning, the stranger still gets mad at you because "your people" stole it. Nevertheless, still a fun game for my first decision-based story, 7/10.
