I've bought this game less then 3 hours ago, finished it in 1 and a half. I cannot describe how amazing it is. As the developers said themselves, this feels as a very important experience, rather then a game. I have played the original "The Test", and they have build on top it immensely. Although it takes time to adjust to the style of questions, sooner or later you do adjust, and then begins an immersion you (at least I) haven't experienced before in a game. The Music is a banger, the art style is very authentic, and the notators voice is just mwah. I wish I learned about this game sooner, since so many things that it just outright told me I have spent years figuring out in myself. Anyways, as I finished the game one card resonated with me the most: The Tuner. The first one I got, and the most mind-opening one (out of 5 they provide). Thank you developers for such an experience, please make more))))

Another test over and done! I will say that the voice was unfortunately quite exhausting to have to listen to, I would have preferred to read on my own in quiet and at my own pace. I'm not sure what was made by real people or if anything was made with AI, and if my suspicions are unfounded, I sincerely apologize. It was hard to tell whether the voice belonged to a real person or if the art was made by human hands or not. That being said I enjoyed the questions and the Tarot styled cards were quite fun to see. The card that resonated with me most was The Mirror Town, as I believe understanding one another is so important rather than making assumptions. Would I recommend this? If I'm honest, I don't think so, which I am sad to say. I really enjoy these test games, but this one did not hit me as deep as the previous ones. I enjoyed playing it, but you might as well just play the previous installations for a similar experience.

This was an... underwhelming experience, unfortunately. I love the earlier installations of this series, and I very warmly recommend them to anyone interested in doing a personality test deep dive! I also really liked the vibe and the music in this game, and the questions were largely well thought out and gave time for reflection. There was, however, a lot of word salad, both during the interludes and reading the final card results. The results were also a little vague and tricky to decipher compared to earlier games, as it feels like they tried cramming as many words as they could into the scenarios to make it all seem as mysterious and [i]intricate[/i] as possible. It goes to a point, and then kinda falls flat in a pretentious "2deep4u" kind of vibe. Plus, the AI artwork. It's apparently reworked according to the store page, but some examples are still... glaring. Favorite obtained card: The Level Ground (Despite the kinda dreary AI artwork; at the VERY LEAST please check the number of fingers on the humans x_x) EDIT: Played "The Test: Reality Check" after this one. Fell right back in love with the series again. There's the wit, the easy language and the straightforwardness I remember and am fond of. You have a great formula going, no need to make this all overly convoluted.

As someone who works/has worked in 911, the card The Keyed Voice resonates with me a lot. It is hard to always find the right thing to say, but I always aim to be someone to lean on in times of distress. My cards read me to filth, and I needed to hear it. Great job as always Randumb!
