A quiet game of life and loss. One by one, everyone left the village for the city. Everyone, except Talma. Approaching her final years, she maintains a simple way of life tending to her homestead, surviving, subsisting, whilst increasingly disturbing letters arrive from her family in the city.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 77.4/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

One by one, everyone left the once bustling village for the city. Everyone, except Talma. Now approaching the end of her days, she maintains a simple, solitary way of life, surviving, subsisting, tending to her homestead and her goats.
Develop your own personal routine as you care for your farm and your animals. Tend to your goats, make cheese with their milk, collect eggs and cook meals, grow vegetables and barter with the travelling merchant who brings increasingly disturbing letters from your family in the city.
A follow up to the critically acclaimed Where the Goats Are, The Stillness of the Wind is a quiet rumination on life and loss.

Breed and look after your goats, make cheese from their milk, grow vegetables, water your plants, collect eggs, scare off the birds. It’s a hard but simple life of peaceful subsistence.

The travelling merchant brings letters from your family and friends and with them a view into a city that feels both very far away and as if it threatens to wash away the world you know.

It's up to you how you spend Talma’s time each day and what your routine will be. Focus on your chores, wander in the desert, reminisce about the past or draw patterns in the dirt.

Trade cheese and other items in return for hay for your goats, seeds to plant, fables, exotic items and shotgun shells, whilst exchanging conversation with the travelling merchant, your only human interaction.

Where the Goats Are was Memory of God's first game. The Stillness of the Wind will be a follow up, expanding on the original concept.

"While Tikvah and her goats might meet an ultimately tragic end, the fleeting, quiet moments before this asked me to appreciate the small things while I could. "

спокойная, атмосферная игра с
печальным
концом.
The free precursor to this game "Where The Goats Are" is a more enjoyable experience... Movement is clunky and irritating in this game; I like the atmospheric build up but moving around is too annoying to bother completing the story.

Absolutely stellar game. I have so much to say, yet left speechless. 10/10
落寞。在覆雪冬天,塔尔玛永远地倒在了鸡舍旁
I really wanted to finish it but I just couldn't. The world is interesting, I like the character (and the shop guy) but I think it would have worked much better as some kind walking simulator or visual novel. I don't mind slow, the walking speed didn't actually bother me as it did some people, it was the fact that with no explanation I bought flowers that were no use for anything, and I ended up with not enough money to keep going. I couldn't ever get another goat to have kids for example, let alone any of the special items. I was screwed right from the very beginning and didn't know it. I believe I was near the end, but by that point I had no goats, dead flowers, some vegetables finally grew that would last me some days but others had died. All I had left to do was to wander round picking up mushrooms and talking to the daily shop man. Incredibly tedious, frustrating and took all my motivation away from even following the story properly. I could try again now I know what I'm doing of course, but I just don't want to. There are lots of games that tell touching stories without this baggage - I just played Before Your Eyes and that pulled on the heart strings incredibly well, in a fraction of the time and with none of the frustration. if there was a 'mid' button on Steam I'd use that, but I can't wholeheartedly recommend it.
I love this game. I hate this game. My goats :(
