Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Extremely thankful this came out on steam in a seamless format. No ISO switching, audio is not buggy, runs great compared to the ScummVM version i tried a while back. Exceptionally underrated and difficult point and click game that is truly unique.
So glad to find this on Steam! I remember spending a lot of time playing around on this game 1998-2000, and never beating it. That's a bigger deal than it sounds, because I was an avid adventure gamer in the 90's (still am). This game is VERY hard in that it adds a clock to the equation. You have to solve the mystery within a certain time frame and several puzzles require events in time to have occurred before they're solvable. I would name my saves (within the Thirsty Tentacle) by the time stamp on my PDA clock due to this. The game has this fun mechanic in that you're a detective, that has an ability called Empathy Telepathy. When you chat with certain patrons of the bar, you're transported within their memory and have to complete their memory as it happened, or lose connection and have to start over. So, you get to explore very fun and strange alien worlds. The game is comedic in tone and delivery. Much of the humor is dated but the voice acting was/is amazing for its time. Let me reiterate, this is probably the hardest adventure I've ever played (and I've played many... so, so many), exclusively due to the time-factor. Well, and maybe also because many numbers, codes and ingredients relating to the puzzles NOT being set values. If you take notes and load a earlier save to replay, those notes will need updated. Restarting from earlier saves will be common practice. There a lot of great things to explore and read that eat away at time you really don't have to spare (but also content you don't want to miss), so you explore around, figure out what can be ignored and reload an earlier save. I had to consult an online hint guide for this game, more than a few times. I hate to admit it, but, real talk. A really begrudgingly great point and click adventure. DON'T RUSH ME! :3

I remember getting this game for my birthday in 90s as a child and never forgetting this hidden gem. This game doesn't get the recognition it deserves, and it's so hard to find anything about it online. It does suffer from difficulty and annoyances such as some DIFFICULT puzzle solutions, and a hidden game timer that can nuke your playthrough. But, if you can get through the jank and immerse yourself in The Thirsty Tentacle, this game oozes story, memorable characters, and an amazing experience.
Classic Unique Game. Got it from a discount bin for a $2 when I was a kid. Gem
