About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Bought just to support ukrainian deelopers. Turned out it's actually a great game.
Supporting the devs. But not good to me. Still support the devs cause the adversity faced during development giving a thumbs up. For the game itself, thumbs down.
Better than the first one, i mean boss fights are pretty sucks, they just throw tons of monster at you. I will not do second play through
I'm unsure how I feel about the series switching from cosmic horror noire to Resident Evil but I do like this game. The gunplay is fun, the environments are interesting, the puzzles are pretty good. I don't like how the enemies you kill can randomly respawn. Ultimately I like this game more than Resident Evil Requiem, it's just weird to see Frogwares change the genre of this IP
This is so weird. I've been going between liking and disliking this game throughout my playthrough. When everything comes together, the story beats pay off nicely, and it feels great. But when it doesn't? Oh boy... I'll start with the things I liked about the game. No crashes or anything on Ultra settings for me. Environment looked really pretty. Character models were a little rough but still good enough. The early game survival horror grind is nice. You run around, conserve your resources, and deal with early game enemies that are chumps, so you can take them out easily with melee attacks. Then you run around unlocking upgrades for your character, and it feels rewarding. I love the way the map shows everything you missed, so you don't have to run around wasting time. The story is progressing nicely, there's a mystery, and you're trying to solve it...aaaaaand it all goes to hell by the mid to late game. They introduce bullet sponge enemies, which turn combat into a chore, and clearing rooms becomes less rewarding. The story loses focus around the same part. It's as if the dog ate half of the script. They introduce plot points and drop them just as fast. It feels surreal, almost as if you're going insane along with the protagonist. The ending feels so abrupt because of it. Voice acting is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it sounds horrible. (Especially that ending, that was really bad) I was expecting more from the story, but it's passable. It is personal, so the protagonist making insane choices at least makes sense. Oh, and I wish the game dropped ammo for the weapons you are using. But for some reason, you get ammo specifically for the weapons you put in your stash. I don't know if it was a bug. Overall, I think it is still worth playing. There is enough survival horror goodness there to for the genre fans to enjoy. Maybe pick it up when it goes on a sale if you are on a tight budget.
The dead refuse to stay dead
Great game but to bad there arent multiple ending like on the first one. Another issueis that it felt way shorter than the first one.
a really excellent sequel and a fantastic survival horror game in the style of the popular third person games of the genre. my only nitpick is i wished there was more detective-type mechanics and some more exploration, other than that i loved it. :)
Great game. Beautiful environment. Frustrating on hard difficulty. Worth the time and money.
