Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.
Sums Google Play only; App Store publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Fun Game, Terrible Progression I’ve been playing Sims FreePlay for years, and while I genuinely enjoy the game, it’s become way more frustrating than fun. First of all, the timers are ridiculous. Why does my Sim have to sleep for 13 hours just to complete one objective? Some tasks take 12, 13, or even 23 hours. Waiting almost an entire day for a baby or a single quest step is just excessive. I understand wanting players to come back, but these wait times are making the game feel like a chore instead of something I can enjoy. The timed events are another problem. The game gives you a limited number of days to finish quests, but people have jobs, school, families, and actual lives. I shouldn’t have to stress about missing a reward because I couldn’t check the game every few hours. It feels like you’re punishing people for not playing nonstop. My biggest issue is LPs (Lifestyle Points). LPs are required for almost everything: getting married, having babies, buying pets, purchasing some of the best furniture, and speeding up tasks. They’re one of the most important currencies in the game, yet they’re incredibly difficult to earn. Years ago, it felt much easier to collect LPs. There were more ways to earn them, like watching ads or doing simple activities. Now it feels like the only realistic option is spending real money. If you’re going to make LPs so essential, then give players better ways to earn them. Let us watch ads for 2 LPs instead of making them nearly impossible to get. Or reward players with around 10 LPs every time they level up. That would make progression feel much more rewarding. Another thing I really dislike is the new business and profession system. I miss when you could simply save up Simoleons and buy what you wanted. Now everything requires crafting materials like hammers, screws, wood, needles, and other items. Then you have to wait for special customers to appear, and even after waiting an hour, they still might not give you the materials you actually need. Instead of being fun, it just feels like unnecessary grinding. I still enjoy Sims FreePlay, which is why I’m leaving this review instead of deleting the game. But the constant long timers, the lack of accessible LPs, and all the extra crafting mechanics have made the experience far less enjoyable than it used to be. Please consider making the game more player-friendly. Shorter task times, better LP rewards, and less unnecessary grinding would make a huge difference. I want to enjoy the game, not feel like it’s another full-time job.
Sims Free play I really hope to get more social points and lp points without having to use money I can’t afford when doing sim chase events it takes forever to do a task and it costs a lot of social points that u don’t have to complete one task or to skip it I wish when u do a daily login u get more social points to help out with events misters boxes and sim chases the game is amazing I love sims free play but I wished it could expand a little more like sims 4 and be more diverse yk
I love the revamp I have played this game on and off for over a decade so I remember the old game play, the new game play is 100% better. One of the main reasons i stopped playing in the past is because with the wait times on everything the game felt almost impossible to get anywhere with, with the new game play I feel like I can actually play and not wait a million years to get somewhere. The graphics are also so much better, the game is just overall better. Way to go developers, honestly. 10/10.
It was ahhhhhhh It’s so cheap, they don’t have good clothes I don’t think it was very fun to my opinion. I just didn’t like it. The hair is just straight ugly, the clothes aren’t better, it disappoints me how y’all give us this phony stuff because we don’t wanna pay.
Worst update ever some glitch happened with the new inventory set up and over half of the things i had saved are gone! bring back my stuff!!!!!!
New Download I can’t download the new update. Update doesn’t work.
Cannot Resume Game I have been playing for a year and a few weeks ago I got the Living Teddy from the market, but it has a bug that does not allow you to return it to inventory. Support apparently fixed it, but I could only return it to inventory once and, then, it bugged again. So, I decided to save game and delete and reinstall. Now, I cannot load my saved game; I get up to 100% / 99% downloaded / installed and the game errs. My WiFi and iOS are all up to date. EA support told me to reinstall over cellular, which did not work and their last agent kept telling me to talk to in-game support, which I cannot do because I cannot re-enter with my saved game, which I do not want to lose. Fix your game and I change my review.
Enjoyable I really like this game so far. And I’m up to level 12 and really like playing and taking care of my sims. However whenever I open the game it’s stuck on the loading screen with the music still playing in the background. Idk if my game is broken or it’s just like that. I’m not too sure. Idk how to bypass it. I don’t want to delete the game bc idk if I save it or if simsfreeplay has that, I’ve only been playing this recently. 🥲
Taking the FREE out of FreePlay Users beware ⚠️ There were major new updates to this game which took away a lot of the enjoyment. Money is very difficult to come by and the updates made it even harder. Many users earned from enhancing their town buildings and they significantly reduced the allowance (in my case 9k to 2k). Some events (like SimChase) are a scam — you can’t win against the computer. Wish the developers would listen to the players but they don’t. Just understand, it’s not the same game as previous reviews have rated it.
Download I can’t load games crash awhile downloading said error message about my connection, my connection works.
