스팀에 심즈2가 나왔다는건 알고 있었는데 혹평이 더 많길래 구입 후 플레이 해봤습니다. 장점 : 기존 설치 버전이 호환성 때문인지 수시로 종료되고, 플레이 자체가 안되는 경우가 있었는데 스팀의 레거시 버전은 급 종료라던가 하는 큰 오류가 없어서 게임 자체는 스무스하게 잘 돌아갑니다. 단점 : 1) 못생긴 심 바디샵 지원이 안되니, 이미 많은 유저들이 커스텀한 심즈 플레이 재미를 겪어봐서인지, 일단 심즈가 너무 못생겼고요. 예쁜 헤어도 없고, 메이크업은 정말이지 최악이고, 이러니 심즈 내에서 가족을 늘리는 재미도 없어요. 2)한정적인 아이템 예전엔 H&M이나, 이케아 등의 아이템팩이 있었어서 커스텀 가구가 아니더라도 잘 애용했는데 그런게 전무하다 보니 고를 수 있는 가구도 한정적이라 집 꾸미는 재미도 없어졌어요. 결과적으로 플레이 타임이 한정적이 되고, 잠깐 켜서 깔짝깔짝 하다가 금방 꺼버리는 게임이 됐네요. 설치 버전을 전부 삭제했는데 매우 후회하고 있습니다. 그냥 심즈라는 게임 자체가 너~무 하고싶다. 커스텀같은거 없어도 상관없다. 심이 못생겨도 된다. 정상적으로 플레이만 되면 된다 하시는 분들은 구매하셔도 무방하지만, 정말 옛 추억을 가지고 예쁜 심, 예쁜 아이템, 나만의 아이템 이런거 생각하시는 분들이라면 구매하시면 좀 후회하실 것 같네요. 설치 버전 할때는 하루에 3시간 이상을 심즈만 해도 질리지 않았는데.. 스팀 버전은 아쉽게도 그런 재미는 없는 것 같습니다.

I held off buying it, partly because I already enjoyed the Ultimate Collection on a different system so purchasing this was redundant, and partly because of the problems people reported early on after the re-release. I caved when it went on sale again, and it seems to be running great, so far. One minor detail I noticed is that it turned the time to 12-hour clock ( meaning 3pm instead of 15:00) and when I went into the game settings to change it back to the default 24-hr time, the option to force 12 hr time was already off. I toggled it on and checked, and still no difference. It's annoying not to have the choice as a player. I'd rather stick with 24 hour time even though in my country, that's not the norm outside the military. But I don't have that choice now, in the legacy edition. Boo. Other than that, no complaints so far at least.
เกมโปรดในดวงใจตั้งแต่เด็กจนโตก็ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง แต่เสียดายที่เล่นแล้วเกมเด้งบ่อยมากจนต้องขยันกด save ในเกมบ่อยๆ (อาจจะเพราะลงม็อดเยอะด้วยมั้ง) โดยรวมแล้ว the sims 2 กลับมาเล่นอีกกี่ทีก็สนุกเสมอ
