The best sims game (and 3, but it IS up to personal preference ofc), and I haven't experienced the older issues of this legacy version.
This is by far one of my favorite games of all time. I've been playing this for like 20 years, and I still love it to this day. Pretty sure I wont get tired of it. So yeah, if you like life sim games, please buy this. 10/10

Game runs fine but the camera just zoom in all the way everytime I am in Build Mode. Very Frustrating!
Ive been playing the sims 2 since I was in the fourth grade. This is the sims 2. The sims 2 is (in my opinion) the best sims game. If you don't already have the sims 2, I would say you should get this version. If you already have the sims 2, don't buy this. You need to jump through hoops that you really shouldn't need to for a 22 year old game, and you still need a crap load of mods to get the game to run well. In the end, the sims 2 is still a great game, and I'm glad there is a legal way to actually obtain the game now.
better than sims 4 as always
I don;t know why peoples see it with such rosey eyes because this is literal trash , there r soo many problems , everything looks wired + loading screens + buttons and icons r so small and messy trash + cheat system does not works properly and soo many more things , frankly am glad My first sims was sims 3 because this is just as bad as sims 4 . utter waste of money I paid .

Já joguei muito mais que 43hrs, The Sims 2 é um jogo maravilhoso e muito divertido, o único erro dele é não ser mundo aberto e não ter a opção de visitar os outros sims, mas fora isso o jogo é maravilhoso! Eu gosto pelos detalhes que ele tem, os nossos sims pegam os utensilios cozinha nos armarios, você pode chamar o diretor para uma visita se quiser matricular o filho do seu sim em uma escola particular, o que me chamou mais atenção foram as cenas animadas para cada evento diferente, primeiro beijo, propor casamento e etc, tudo muito lindo Então SIM! eu recomendo bastante que joguem THE SIMS 2
