unfortunately half of my mods aren't even working and it is a good game. I love every details of it but I wouldn't recommend it, still tho growing up it is one of the best, it just half broken...

I have noticed no bugs other than the possibility for a freeze at the start-up, something which is easily fixed by simply restarting. No signs of corruption, or anything of such only issue is that. You get the majority of content/addons with this, pretty sure all but this is my first time playing Sims 2 so. But yeah, EA did a decent job for once with this remaster it's considerably better than The Sims Legacy Collection which constantly has texture bugs most likely due to a poor updates. I'd recommend getting the game with caution and awareness that corruption has been reported in the past and, if this does happen just try to refund and explain the complications you went through to the Steam Support team

Hace un mes atras me instale los sims 2 y todo excelente, hasta que despues lo elimine y volvi a instalar y ahora cuando intento seleccionar una ciudad para jugar al momento de ya cargar me aparece toda la pantalla negra y la musica sigue sonando, por lo que hago click al boton de window y hago click en los sims y aparece todo normal y cuando hago click para jugar se vuelve a poner la pantalla negra y asi sucesivamente, ya he borrado cache del juego, reinstalado nuevamente y e borrado archivos antiguos pero sigue persistiendo el problema y ya no se que mas hacer porque al parecer todo funciona bien pero al momento de jugar y hacer click todo se pone negro.
Wer das Spiel früher gespielt und gesammelt hat und jetzt nochmal in Nostalgie schwelgen will ist hier genau richtig. Zu den Kommentaren die Abstürze und Bugs beklagen kann ich nur sagen, dass nach 30 Stunden, in denen ich mehrere Städte, Ortschaften Downtown etc. erstellt und hinzugefügt habe sowie mehrere Familien erstellt und gespielt habe ich nur 1 Bug hatte der darin bestand, dass ein NPC in der Tür festbugte und von mir gelöscht werden konnte. Das wars. Es kann mal zu nem kurzen einfrieren kommen aber solange man Ruhe bewahrt und nicht alle 2 Sekunden eine Taste betätigt fängt sich das Spiel eigentlich immer. Spiele auch hin und wieder mit Cheats um das Alter der Sims zu verlangsamen und auch das verträgt das Spiel ohne Probleme. Wie gesagt für die Nostalgie eine klare Empfehlung.
