About
The Permanent Residence pulls you into the unsettling world of an isolated bungalow shrouded in mystery and dread. You step into the shoes of a traveling musician, stranded after your shows are suddenly canceled. Desperate and tempted by a 50% discount, you take up an offer to stay in this strange house, blissfully unaware of the horrors that await.
The once-quiet halls now hum with whispers, and the walls seem to hide secrets aching to be uncovered. As you piece together strange clues, the bungalow’s chilling history unfolds—a past filled with rituals, vanishings, and a dark presence that refuses to let go. Soon, you realize that walking out the door might not be as simple as walking in.
In Souls Kept, the first chapter of "The Permanent Residence" series, you take on the role of a musician drawn into the chilling mystery of an isolated bungalow. With only cryptic diary entries and unsettling photographs left behind by a vanished wedding photographer to guide you, you’ll piece together the terrifying events that have cursed this house.
Can you uncover its secrets before it’s too late? Will you find a way out, or will you become yet another soul ensnared in its dark, unrelenting grip?
More episodes are planned for the future—each one delving deeper into the cursed legacy of The Permanent Residence.
Atmospheric Exploration: Roam through an intricately detailed house filled with clues and eerie ambiance.
Narrative-Driven Clues: Discover diary entries from previous residents, like a vanished wedding photographer, to piece together the house’s dark history.
Paranormal Encounters: Experience haunting events that escalate as you uncover the bungalow’s secrets.
Immersive Sound Design: Feel the terror through subtle whispers, unsettling noises, and a soundscape that heightens dread.
Psychological Horror: Navigate a looping nightmare of fear, guilt, and despair that blurs the lines between reality and the infernal.
Descent into Hell: Witness a twisted depiction of hell as the house reveals its true, horrifying nature.

It was a good game and I do recommend playing if you like horrors, not sure if the developers read these reviews but on the chance they do, I have this feedback, could also be useful for future players to know also. The torch, I had to click it about 30 times before it was picked up and it's obviously very needed. The last sequence after we lose our torch, it's really a bit too dark to figure out where to go, I got there, but I was going to rage quit tbh, and I thought maybe I didn't get a torch and it was needed. However, I persisted and made it to the end.

A Short and interesting game. Graphics are well done, SFX are nice (but could use some improvement on spacial positioning) and the story was good if you take in the concept that this is the first part on a series. I expect more info on the next chapters. Give it a chance. Its free and the developer made magic with limited resources. Plus its a good gameplay to heat up your stream and prepping for a main event game. Keep up the good work, Dev!
It is alright I guess, the developers should make the game sequel longer next time with an actual storyline on it.
pretty fun game scarred my little cousin and yes im proud of that.
Olmayan bir hikaye, kötü assetlerle yapılmış grafikler, rezalet bir optimizasyon. Ve korkunç bile değil. (A non-existent story, graphics made with bad assets, a disgraceful optimization. And it's not even scary.)
not bad
Perfect
